I am having mouse sensitivity issues related to mouse acceleration in Mass Effect 1 for the PC. Are there any commands I can put in the .ini files to remove mouse acceleration or increase the sensitivity for character turning beyond what’s available in the options menu?

I figured out a workaround. Here's how I did it.
First, enable the console by adding the following line under the [Engine.Console] in BioInput.ini:
ConsoleKey=Tilde
Once in Mass Effect, open the console and set your mouse sensitivity to your needs with the following command:
Set BioPlayerInput MouseSensitivity x.000000
where x is the value that works best for you.
The game goes back to the default 32.000000 whenever you exit so it must be entered every time you play.
