JE2 should definitely be made!!
I'd like them to release a Bioware triple pack with achievements or "collection" like Metal Gear, Silent Hill and a few others have done first.....then JE2 as a next gen title.
Jade Empire 2 anyone??????

Personally I see this year's E3 having BW do two things (if any), DA3 (which is a no brainer) and after that playing the "Ki-Yah" from Jade Empire as the BW logo appeared on screen (like when you start up Jade Empire), then having to show the rest of the trailer twice because people didn't stop applauding that alone. Now what trailer that could be I couldn't even guess, maybe a re-release of the original so that they can get the IP well known again (which would be where my money would be if it was assured that they were doing anything with the IP), a sequel, a prequel, a completely unrelated story or what, hell they could be announcing Baldur's Gate 3 and just be seeing if they could simultaneously disappoint some of their fans while making them mess their pants (which I'd lose some money on if they managed to do).

Jade empire 2 would be most welcome, but please bioware, I hope some developer or anyone in charge could read this humble plea. Do not do jade empire 2 a messy action splatter chaos like you have made mass effect 2-3 and dragon age 2 to please the senseless action/destruction/splatter lovers. Jade empire special edition is in pegi scale 16 and sold pretty good(I think. I dont have any sales numbers...) and gained good reviews and reception from gamers. That's enough for this kind of genre and proofs that game can be great without the things I mentioned. Just my humble opinion/plea!

Jade Empire is an action game and I'd love it if the combat didn't suck. Poor combat != deep. Fast paced and deep combat is great as long as the story doesn't suffer for it.

Off topic: Imagine my surprise when i found a forum section for arguably my favorite non-Bethesda game for the original Xbox.

On topic: I myself would greatly treasure a Jade Empire 2 installment, or honestly, even a remake of Jade Empire itself for the major consoles, as well as PC (i.e, like RE4). I would say without a doubt id place a pre-order on that game, even if it wasn't expected to come out for over a year after they initially announce it (fingers crossed for E3).

Jade Empire really needs to be made.Bioware could do a Tim Burton reboot(or not)or a completely new game.Techs better now days so it would be awesome.
