I know this has been talked about on hear just not sure how to shearch for it. i bet mass effects 1 with 2 profiles but when i went to carry them over it said i did not have any avalible profiles

If my memory serves, you need to hit the "Configure" button on the ME2 launcher when you start up the game--before actually going into Mass Effect 2. That should open up a window where you can import profiles. Import them, THEN start up the game, and you should be able to start ME2 from an imported profile of your choosing.

I hope that helps. I had the same problem when I went to play ME2.
