Today I bought Dragon Age Origins: Ultimate Edition for PC. I bought on Amazon and dowloaded it with the Amazon game downloader. After an agonizing 6 hour download, I finally got to the stage where it installed the game. I opened the launcher and clicked "play" to be lead to this page:

I signed into my EA account, which has my key acivated on it, and was given this message:

This happens every time I click "play."
I have patch 1.04, adobe air is completely updated, and I have Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Express
I don't know why this is happening, and if I do actually need to reinstall it, does that mean that I will need to redownload the game, or just do the installation part again? I would greatly appreciate any help that anyone can offer.

First, see the "Read First" thread pinned at the top for posting guidelines. More information is needed to offer any help.

Second, you may want to check out the "Solutions Round-Up" thread pinned to the top. The most common issues and their solutions are linked there.

A few thoughts based on what little information you provided: The game requires the older x86 C++ libraries (link provided in the solutions round-up thread) which should install along with the game. The Ultimate Edition comes pre-patched to version 1.04, so if you applied 1.04 patch, it is known to cause problems (again, solution in the Solutions Round-up thread). Finally, have you tried to reinstall the game as it suggests? I could not tell you if the Amazon download manager maintains a local copy of the installer, or can be set to do so. If not, the EA download manager Origins can, and your CD key from your Amazon download version of the game entitles you to the Origins version as well. Installs may fail for a host of reasons, including not running the installer on an administrator account. Run "as administrator" does not always work on Windows systems, particularly Win 7 and Vista (Windows issue, not a game issue). If the install failed, whatever the reason, you will need to re-install.

Last Friday I bought also Dragon Age Origins in a shop and I did the installation sucessfully. I opened here an account and I was asked to enter a code for all additional missions which I entered.
How can I now get these additional missions available? In my game they are not available (just awaken) and when I try to open an other mission then I'm asked to buy. Must I download something? I don't know what to do, the code was entered under this account.

Posting in someone else's thread on a completely unrelated issue is poor forum etiquette. There is a solutions round-up thread pinned to the top of the forum, which would be the best place to start. A beta patch is currently in testing to fix all DLC authorization issues and a thread for it is pinned to the top of the forum. If you require help beyond those threads, please see the posting guidelines in the "Read First" thread also pinned to the top of this forum.
