Do you have to import ME1 to have it show, because it's not on mine and I did the game twice. I see people in the forum talking about Ilos so I know its in game but is it only in ME1 and that letter you get just BS about money transfer

... Not quite sure what letter/money transfer you're on about, but yush, Ilos is ME1 only.

Physically anyway.

Ilos isn't in Mass Effect 2. There are references to it, and it holds importance in the series, but you can't physically go there (or it's system or cluster) in ME2.

Thanks for the replies BentOrgy and Missouri Tigers. Bent the letter was in my messages for missions close to start of play in ME2.
