It's the lighting, and they've improved the graphics slighter.

This doesn't even look like it's going to be the final product, either. We have a little less than 9 months before release, they still can fine-tune this game a lot until then. Personally, to me, it looks a lot like ME2 still.

Sure they improved the quality. But he looks sad:crying: . May be he got a beating in prison. I am talking about the expression in his face. Take a look at the demos and you'll see what I mean.

With Shepard in a prison, everyone must be cowering in a corner, curling in fetal position and whimpering.
Anyway, you can't just expect someone to come out of battles looking fresh and young.
You guys are lucky he doesn't have gray hair yet...and a can.

I think it looks pretty much the same. Maybe it's the brightly coloured background, mixed in with better lighting. Throws you off.

His face isn't as long as it was. That's a good thing, most likely means they improved the character models over the last two. Which I hope also means, Female Shepard will look a bit more different even if you keep whatever settings are imported, unlike ME2 where I think they just changed the Complexion settings.

They have added a lot of details for the models including more polygons. If you look at his arms in the demos, you can see that details like blood vessels are visible now and the texture is better too.

I doubt the AI in game have been programmed to do that. Or that there is real internet in the games.
