Really?
That is some irony.
Why are threads not wanting S/S romance labeled as trolls?

Sure.
But do your complaints outweigh Bioware's internal planning? Or other peoples' suggestions?
Do you have any polling on what people want, or is your opposition based on your own view?
Have you considered that Bioware have their own decision making process that isn't based on the comments of a few hundred people on an internet forum? That they have marketing concerns and budgetary reasons for doing what they do?
Or, have you considered that they enjoy giving expanded options to players?
You have every right to post whatever you want, but you'd better be prepared to a) back it up and

I visit this site regularly, on a different account. But if i voice my opinions, i am likely to be banned unfairly by Bioware, so i created an alt. I am not a troll.

The only reason these S/S romances were included is thanks to political correctness. But the reason they label everybody trolls and homophobes is due to some sort of group-think mentality. According to them no sane person could disagree with their "requests".
Yes, of course. It couldn't possibly be that Bioware adds romances to their games and wants to expand on that to include their ever growing fanbase of diverse players.
You should visit the Gay Gamer forums someday. There is literally a thread with well over 100 pages dedicated to discussing Dragon Age II. It's part of their market.

I just stated im bored and learned not to take the internet seriously because all it does is leads to pointless butthurt and these forums very much prove that(on both sides of the arguments) expecially when it comes to the topic at hand =/

And that is why I think, the only vocal minority are people absolutely being against s/s romance.
Despite the fact, that the decision has been made, you see the same few people (=vocal minority) trying to bash it over and over again, sometimes they do even make new accounts for this to protect the one they registered their games with.
Yes, the so-called straight male gamer might still be the largest group, but most of them seem to have no problem with the s/s option, one might say they are being mature about it. Being respectful to other groups of gamers and implementing choices suited to their needs and not just focusing on the largest group is miles away from exclusively catering to them and mindless political correctness.

Visit? Not likely, I'd rather complain with the grognards somewhere about the lack of tank simulators on the market. It's a shame DA2 was a step backwards from DA:O in every way. But I guess Bioware was able to reach the market of CoD kiddies (awesome button) and gays (everybody's bisexual) with DA2. Too bad for prior fans.

Thank you.
People don't realize that gaming has changed immensely since its inception. Almost half of all gamers today are women, the average gamer is well into his or her later 30s, and gaming has become a worldwide sensation with a billion dollar industry that surpasses the film industry. Gaming is expanding and will continue to expand and reach new audiences: developers either adapt or die a misserable death at the hands of bankruptcy. Part of that adaptation process is being mindful and respectful of the diversity of gamers.

First, you could say that S/S supporters were the vocal minority before ME3 had S/S.
And also, being against S/S gets you instantly labeled as a homophobe, at least on this site. I always browse the Anti S/S threads, but i never post for fear of being labeled and banned and ruining my rep. I had to create an Alt. im sure there are others here who feel the same. It took me months to actualy do something about it. On this site we may be a minority, but generally i think a lot of people are against it, but are not vocal because where always labeled homophobes and get banned.
And even if i am the only one with my views (which is not true) it doesn't make it invalid.

When you throw your lot in with trolls, you're going to be treated like a troll.
When you post an anti-homosexual thread, no matter how polite you are about it, do you honestly expect it not to get hijacked by the less-than-kind members of your support group? Every single well-meaning and initially polite anti-homosexual thread has been closed because it dissolved into gay-bashing and trollbait. They were left open for a good, long while because, and were eventually closed becaused of where the discussion went, not where it began.
And I hardly believe that creating a sock-puppet account was necessary, especially if you're trying to not look like a troll. If you're polite and well-meaning with your initial post, I doubt that the Mods will hold you responsible for where this thread inevitably goes.

Ah, I see! So anyone who disagrees with you is automatically "ultra PC" and not possibly of free opinion. I like that argument. It's impossible to argue factually against, since it sits somewhere between a mass relay and a bizarro dimension where real life rules don't exist or apply.

Nobody is forcing you to play the games.
Even *if* Bioware are home to a cabal of secret PC-overlords, they still make (well, with recent exceptions) damn good games.
I'm baffled that you feel the need to object about an optional choice that makes up 1% of a game and has literally zero impact on your playing experience unless you choose to go further.
You're clearly a fan of Bioware, since you keep hanging around here. They put certain types of content in their games. Deal with it.

This "adaptation" you speak of is either appealing to the mob (see CoD crowd), hoping some big publisher buys you, or just trying to get enough money from a smaller consumer base to keep afloat. Despite whatever PR may say it isn't about "diversity" and etc.
