Not comparable, especially if pre-established characters are suddenly deciding they're bisexual.

Because the S/S crowd are afraid. I could care less. I support s/s as long as they dont touch certain characters.

In future Biogames other than ME3, all romanceable characters will be bisexual, like Dragon Age 2. Soon there won't be any straight people.
except the non romancable chars

There may have been trolls in the thread, but it wasn't a troll thread, and yet he refers to it as such, simply because the OP does not agree with S/S romance. I wouldn't have a problem with this if there wasn't such a blatant Bias by not locking the S/S threads as "troll threads".
No, that was definitely a troll thread to begin with. Saying that is was impossible for Vega to be gay because of his profession, saying that all gay dialogue should be stripped from the game because "seriously who wants to hear about that"? Yeah. Troll.
Pretty much any thread that starts with "I don't hate gays but" is going to be a troll thread.
He may not have gone about it in the right way, but he certainly wasn't a troll, his (percieved) intention was to voice his opinion, not to purposely annoy people.
If my opinion was "all women are sl*ts." that's trolling. I can claim it's my opinion until the cows come home. That doesn't stop it from being trolling. (correction: If I posted this on a message board. If I merely thought this then it's just a opinon. (Not even gonna get in the opinions can be wrong can of worms.)

He never said anything along the lines of that, his post was a request for an option. No trolling there.
Well recently i found out their is going to be a same sex romance in the upcoming ME3 and at first i didnt really care but when i started to think about it the only real option would be for Vega, the new alaince marine to join your squad, be the new gay squadmate.
Now this isnt a gay bashing thread so any hateful people please refraim from posting, but seriously bioware what are you thinking? first of all their arent to many gays in the military their are even less in the Marine, and Second it would be even more impossible for their to be a homosexual in the infantry ecspecially as some one as experienced as Vega is made out to be.
Sooooo I beleive it necessary that bioware make an option that would strip out all gay dialog and romance from the game because seriously who wants to hear about Vega's feelings? all i want to hear from him is how much he loves killing some ugly aliens

I'm pretty sure Asari are monogender and I imagine, before contact with duogender races, they probably had no concept of gender beyond flora and animals. Mother and father roles seemed to be present though, or it could be something that is unable to be rendered through universal translation and is instead manifested to other races as conventional mother/father roles. Of course what I'm saying is most likely refined bollocks.AgentWhite1416 wrote...
I just hope Vega isn't the only "gay" squadmate in the game because he would be creepy I can see it now Vega creeps in to Sheperds room at night with his pants around his ankles! JK.
I don't care really I mean all the LI in ME1 were originally Bi, they have the deleted scenes on you... "not that I would know."
In addition, nobody but fox news cared that there was a lesbian sex scene with Liara and before you try an tell that's somehow different because she's an alien with no EARS, mature some and realize she's not a man and if I'm wrong I'm deleting all 21 of my ME characters :/

I think it's going quite well so far, no hate speech, spam or innapropriate photos. So don't try to derail it.

And S/S stands for same-sex I imagine.
And I think it might be just a little more than that. And definitely more than those who would not buy this good game if it wasn't including s/s content. Net loss.ElitePinecone wrote...
