Why doesn't Gorion reveal in his letter to <Charname> the truth about his/her mother? Even though Gorion is a good man, he flat out lies from beyond the grave, even mentions they were lovers... why not reveal the truth immediately (it's not like it would be a bigger shock than the revelation of being a Bhaalspawn).
It doesn't really make sense, considering what happens later in BG2. It could even be considered a retcon.
