I like Miranda as well, but I can tolerate her not in the squad and acting independently form Shep if that means she'll have a better story and make some serious impact on the plot.

I honestly believe that if you made the "right" choices in ME2 she might not be permanent.

She might have to leave you during the Geth/Quarian arc to become an admiral (assuming she wasn't exiled) and you won't see her until the end of the game.

I have a feeling that the game will be giving you options for certain characters to send them on their way if you really want them to. Besides, if you don't like Tali that much just make sure she dies on the suicide mission in ME2. Then she can't be in ME3.

I think Liara and Miranda are the LIs with the most story potential and should have the biggest roles. Followed by Tali. That may not always go hand in hand with presence on the team, but I would want neither of them to be relegated to a one-mission presence. Do that and I'll rant away along with the respective character's fans.

Unfortunately Miranda is the only one I need to worry about. Grrrr.

LI's should have equally sized roles.

Me too. Only a one-mission presence won't be enough. And if Tali gets the significant role *and* the permanent presence on the team and while Miranda gets the former but not the latter, I'll still complain. Unless Miranda's impact is *really* big.

We had Tali in two games. There is no reason to give her preferential treatment yet again. Ashley and Liara, yes. Their fans have waited long enough for their reappearance. Tali should take a backseat this time.

Yeah, they are satisfied that tali is permanent and trying to avoid spoiler....maybe.

If she is permanent then I think it is disappointing cause in two of my play through's no matter what I do she dies on the suicide mission.

It's intensely irritating, and doubly so if I lose out on a ton of content just because she's too feeble to survive the mission even if I do all the upgrades and gain her loyalty.

Edit: To clarify I'm not anti Tali, I think she's a decent character that I want around at least in some capacty in the next game. I'm merley very irritated by her knack for dying.

Tali was always a benchwarmer in ME1 and ME2 for me. She's lucky I remembered to come visit her boring ass. She's probably a great character, but alas, the fanboys and fan service have ruined her for me.

Thats odd. I have like 6 or 7 playthroughs and she never died in any of them. You must have done something wrong.

I think its a glitch cause I have a ton of play through's (roughly 20) and they are all primed and ready for the thrid installment.

I don't want to have to replay them both again because after that many play through's it gets a bit old.

I can't think what it is if it isn't a glitch, I did her loyalty mission as soon as, saved her from exile, bought all upgrades availible (I do that anyway I'm a bit OCD in that regrad), and I kept her loyal after her argument with Legion.

It's all very frustrating.

I wouldn't consider myself a die-hard fanboy, but I'm here. 

And if you don't like Tali, then just ignore her. Just like I did with Miranda all the time. And skipped every single line of dialogue. Anyone can do it.

I don't like her either, that's why I 'got rid' of her in ME2 and I'm not concerned if she is available as perma-squaddie again or not because in my save she's dead anyway. What's the point in creating a thread complaining about her role in ME3 if you can already make sure she doesn't have any role in YOUR ME3?

Fortunately the bucket is dead on my playthrough and she'll remain as such till the end of time. Doesn't bother me as much as having her as permanent, but no word on Miri yet. Rather stupid.
