I've heard of that show, never watched.  Not interested in watching it.  Vega's look isn't bad.  Haven't played the game yet, so I will wait until then to pass judgement on the guy.

Never heard about it (about show, not about geographic object) and have no idea what is it about - luckily, it seems this show isn't broadcasted in Russia.

Vega might be a good character. Hopefully he will be. I agree it's strange to bring in a new guy to an already loaded team, but people could die in 2 and Shepard could need a replacement Jacob...

I believe he is there to replace Jacob. Though he won't be anything like Jacob seeing as Jacob was the least popular character in ME2.

honestly i agree completely... ditch this vega **** and give me one of the characters from the previous 2 games instead... we have enough characters as it is from those games we dont need anymore especially some jersey shore looking douche.

I also like Jacob.  I just didn't like Shepard tone when whe talked to him, as you said the first couple of times.  I turn the sound off.  But Jacob was ok.  I'm willing to wat and see what BW does with Vega before I write him off as a lost cause.  I'm hoping he will be interesting.

I'm also somehting of a Jacob fan. Honestly he was like the only halfway normal, relatable member of Shep's team.

As for Vega, we know nothing about him besides his appearance, he's a soldier, and he's "the new guy"

Guess what? So was Grunt once upon a time.

So let's see what kind of character he turns out to be. Is he aware of Shep's past deeds? If so, does he approve? Is he an Alliance idealist? A human supremacist? A Spectre candidate? What's his personality like? Easygoing? Snarky? Suspicious? Is he a peacemaker? Cynic? Jokester? Is he renegade or paragon-leaning? Is he a LI? Does he know any more of the squad going in? How does he end up joining SHepard anyway?

Before deciding whether we like him or not, let's see how the answers to some of these questions go first.

Ah no. I've bolded the key words. We have only seen a picture of Vega. He couldn't have possibly shown himself to be brainless. Ever heard of the Genius Bruiser? Yeah didn't think so. Somehow, I don't think any of you have EVER met a real douche. 

Douches come in all shapes and sizes, my friends. Hell, I'm a douche and I don't look anything like Vega. I really hope you don't judge people this quickly in reality.
