They aren't achievements.

They are. Not sure why you're confused on this if you have the PC version. There's also achievements in the DA series.

There is no confusion.  We are talking about different things. 
I'm referring achievements in the traditional XBL sense, as in you fulfil a requirement, you unlock the achievement, you get a gamerscore reward that adds to a cumulative total.

This doesn't happen in ME2 on PC because it isn't a GFWL game, and you don't sign in to a gamertag.

Achievements are achievements, whether or not they're added to a point pool total that you, personally, care about. This thread isn't about your opinion on platforms. You're welcome to contribute to the thread but if your arguement is that only M$ has achievements because of a specific pool of numbers they collect, you're in the wrong place.

Ha.  Next time I see you post a topic I'll send youa PM with my opinions before posting so that you can either affirm or deny my right to comment. How's that?

If this is how you feel then you might wanna make your OP clearer because nigh on everyone in this topic who posts an achievement idea follows it up with 10g, 50g, 150g.  etc.  Thats because perception of what constitutes an 'achievement' in terms of gaming has been changed by the way Microsoft (oh, M$, I see what you did there. Very amusing) and to a lesser extent Sony have done with their arbitrary scoring systems.

An achievement for playing all the games is pretty good. it could be a silver trophy for ps3 owners and a 75 pt achievement on xbox. I'd like to have a thresher maw achievement, for whatever it involves, either working with a thresher maw or killing one. Staying true to your romantic interest, or saving so many lives over the course of the trilogy

"Information And Espionage" - Confront the Illusive Man. 
"Politics Are Fickle" - Confront the Council (original or new).
"Where It All Began" - Revisit Eden Prime. 
"The Days After Tomorrow" - Listen to the epilogue and complete Commander Shepard's story arc.
"Up Close And Personal" - Register 50 kills with your unique melee ability. 
"Modernized Rifle" - Fully customise and modify any assault or sniper rifle.
 

Secret Achievements

"I Should Go" - Produce an odour bubble or let one rip inside the Flotilla.
"It's Me, Conrad Verner" - Use Paragon or Renegade to resolve an impossible situation.  
"Of Our Own Agenda" - Import a character throughout the trilogy.
