Are you currently having trouble on the Collector Ship figuring out which weapon you should get Advanced Training on? Are you afraid of selecting the wrong weapon and having to lug around a worthless firearm for the rest of the game? Are you bored and want to test if this even works Well, try this quiz!

This quiz takes your preferences for battles and what you would work best with. It ignores your class.

The ignores your class is the bad part, because class will determine how you respond in most situations. It asked what do you do when someone sneaks up on you, well for an Engineer, I would hit them with a drone and overload/incendiary/cryo depending on protections, Adept would hit with a power and try to punt them off the board, Soldier would AR and shoot the heck out of them, Vanguard would charge and headshot with SG, Sentinel would just stand there and laugh while they die, and Infiltrator would cloak and kill them or ghost away. So depending on what class would depend on how you handled the situation and thus the answer. How you would like to handle it is always secondary to what class you happen to be playing and how it can handle it.

All in all it is a cute quiz that may at it's best help someone, but not hardcore ME2 gamers like me.

I should've wrote no minmaxers allowed, because chances are one would show up. That's you, no offense.

Your personal opinion is valid, but not every Mass Effect Player plays as you. You are able to process a playstyle based on class. Many other people don't.  Everyone have their own patterns and playstyles that in a game like Mass Effect will bleed into every class, no matter what. If you selected "Run" at the sneaking up question, chances are you ran away as not only an Infiltrator, but as a Vanguard. Perhaps as a Vanguard you ran away a little bit so you can charge the enemy, but you still ran. That's most people.

And most people play with what feels good to them personally, not based on what class they are. Screw the Widow, when I play Infiltrator I get Shotgun. Most people think and play like this, so your opinion aside, there's nothing wrong with how I made the quiz.

The powers and abilities from your class will in a large part determine playstyle. Adept regardless of weapon chosen will still play like a biotic, probably use singularity and possibly stasis for crowd control, where as an infiltrator is likely to use their cloaking to position themselves and for damage increase. This is what it comes down to playstyle and class are inextricably intertwined.

The quiz questions are almost better to determine what class you would rather play rather than what bonus weapons. But as I said, in my last line, it is a cute quiz and may help some, but not the really hard core ME2 gamers, such as the majority of players on this particular part of the forum. If you put this quiz in the general or story section you might get a better response, but this forum is populated by a bunch of really good players who play this game alot, myself included in the playing alot, the good part is debatable.
