I couldn't find anything about it returning and I was wondering if Omega was not making a return in Mass Effect 3.

I enjoyed it, I thought it was one of the more interesting areas and a lot was starting to brew there.  It would be nice to see the multiple plots being resolved.

We don't know yet, we've heard about very few locations in ME3 so far. Hopefully Omega is in, one of my favorite locations in ME2!

Hopefully, though it'd be awesome if the expanded it and made it more open to exploration.

Omega needs the same treatment the Citadel got in ME1.

I was dissapointed about the lack of Persidium exploration in ME2. Was looking forward to seeing some old faces.

Probably. Aria has her own forces who we'd probably need to convince her to lend for fighting the Reapers as opposed to keeping her safe. At the very least Aria wlll probably be in ME3, bringing Omega into play by extension.

I definitely want more Omega. But maybe a little further from the Afterlife club scene. Omega seems to be the perfect place to throw out that bladerunner-esque cityscape.

I like the idea that we would have to resolve a revolution on Omega, caused by the events of Garrus as Arch Angel, all of Aria's best soldiers getting killed in ME: Retribution, and more of Aria's forces getting killed in ME: Invasion. That would hopefully not only give us a larger view into Omega geographically, but also politically.

If you mean the "citadel treatment", meaning just opening up 4 levels of a random tower and the Human Embassy, and close off all other areas that was in ME1, then no (like what happened to the Citadel in ME2).

If you want to keep all the areas of Omega (at least the hub), while opening up new ones that are fully explorable and interconnected and not closed off to certain missions, then certainly.

I hope it's what they do the Alliance Normandy SR-2, keep all areas, and expand it further.

What part of "in ME1" as written in my post did you not understand?

I got it, I just wanted to state my case about the Citadel in ME2, that's all.

Slightly off topic, but still sort-of relevant.  :D

Just a lil misunderstanding. The point is that everyone wants bigger and better Omega! :D (and the Citadel as well!)

I doubt that we'll see it. Omega's probably being saved for the comic book.

How would any of us know? The game hasn't come out yet.

More Omega is good. I'd love to see a space biker scene on Omega with Shepard doing a chase scene through the back alleys!

There is always room to do this in Citadel Vice. Citadel Vice would be a awesome Mass Effect spinoff, where we chase down Batarian drug lords across the galaxy.

To be turned into empty space with recycled resources?

That empty space really did help with the sense of scale. Compare ME1's Citadel to ME2's, and the fact that you can run through more than a Walmart's worth of space really does help the sense of scale and immersion.

What Omega really needs, however, is an actual justification for being important in the first place. The entire Terminus was pretty much a 'meh' in ME2 in terms of showing why/how it/they mattered.
