The Mass Effect storyline will surely lead us back to the Citadel...and to Omega.
I hope to see new areas in each place and have delightfully varied encounters.
Speaking of Encounters...
If Aria T'Loak and the Illusive Man were ever to have a showdown... it would happen on Omega.
Here's my version....~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
THE SCENE: OMEGA: The Illusive Man arrives at the exterior door to club Afterlife, with an entourage of two Cerberus bodyguards, and three of his latest ego-boosting, super-model, elite female athlete, and Asari Matriarch conquests. The group is escorted inside immediately for a security scan. Witnessing T.I.M.'s group apparently strolling in causes the long line of impatient wanna-be patrons to shout and nearly riot. The shouting prompts club security to send out the extra Batarian muscle who've been standing by since before T.I.M. even entered the asteroid field.
The interstellar paparazzi swarm and clamor for quotes -but T.I.M.'s entourage are using anti-vid tech - and later the paparazzi find that they have apparently videotaped Elvis arriving at the club. Aria's guards quickly frisk and scan the visitors and radio ahead with the okay once they've secured all the weapons and spy devices.
Aria has been watching T.I.M's approach on a vid-pad, and now stands as T.I.M's group enters the inner club.
She casts a glance at Garka...and he nods - signaling he and the others are ready to gun anyone down on her word...
Looking down from her VIP spot, the Pirate Queen of Omega grins slightly with bemusement as she derisively addresses the Illusive Man from a distance...
Aria: "I SEE that you've FINALLY left your hidey- hole and entered into my domain......in the flesh.... and SO vulnerable..! Did you find your courage ?"
Illusive Man: "I LIKE to get out... occasionally...and this IS an occasion. It's a great club you've got here...but don't get TOO comfortable... Omega is your's TODAY... but things CHANGE Aria..."
Aria: "It's so RARE that someone dares to tempt my anger...within a few parsecs of me... Are you so sure I won't just eviscerate your favorite parts -and let Varren chew on what's left ?"
Illusive Man: "I'm sure Aria...because In front of everyone here.... I'm calling you Out !"
Aria: "AH...So... you think you're my EQUAL do you ?"
Illusive Man: "I'm BETTER than you - and I've been practicing my MOVES.... Queen of Omega."
Aria: "Ha HA HA ! Oh Jack... I'm going to ENJOY humiliating you in front of Everyone here !"
( activates voice amplification microphone )
"HEAR ME OMEGA !!! I FACE THIS FOOL - AND YOU WILL WITNESS ! ! ! I FEAR NO ONE !
THE DANCE- OFF BEGINS.......NOW ! "
-And the two biggest ego's for light years around engage in an Uber Dance-off !
They do the Michael Jackson challenge !
They do the Saturday Night Fever !
They do the Geth "Robot" !
They do the Batarian Watusi !
The dance challenge goes on for hours.....until it's TOTALLY CLEAR to EVERYONE that -
- T.I.M. is a really good pop-locker, he can do the splits, and now his Irish clogging really rocks !He really HAS gotten better - but he still cannot beat the Queen of hip-hop moves...
Aria grabs a microphone and sings "I GOT THE POWER !" in celebration - as the crowd cheers her...
After much partying by Aria and her peeps.. she goes to bid The Illusive Man and his entourage farewell. Sardonically grinning from ear to ear she says...
Aria: "Jack... I'm so GLAD you dropped by... I haven't had such fun in AGES... !
Really... WHAT were you thinking ? I've got centuries on you."
T.I.M.: " I'll be BACK Aria."
Aria: "Don't **** with me Jack ! "
T.I.M. "Well.......if you didn't keep turning me down.... "
Aria: "This WAS Fun...but don't spoil it. We've got different interests - you know that.
You want to do business - let me know... but DON'T waste my time.
T.I.M.: " I wouldn't Dream of it. "
As the Illusive Man and his people leave Omega.. Aria summons her security staff.
In steely tones she says....
Aria: "I want to know what that son of a **** is up to. Review ALL the security tapes and taps.
I want to know who his people contacted, what they did, who they screwed, and what they had for dinner.
Nobody sleeps for the next 28 hours until you bring me what I want to know. -Got it ?"
Thugs: ( In unison.... ) "Yes Boss !"
Aria: "Okay - Beat it !"
( To herself... Aria whispers ) ."... I'm going to learn all your secrets Jack.. - you'll see..."
( ...and she smiles... )

I reckon they have this omega dlc in their pocket but will hang on to it for awhile until the year is strech thin... then they will come up with a story that matches with the current comic invasion. no pointing having to fight after destroying cerberus but would make sense if the favor was made for blue suns, eclipse and blood back if shepard helps take back omega out of illusive mans hands. when you speak to aria you notice she says take it out of the illisive mans hands. so it would make sense to take it in-game prior to the war assets

when you said illusive man I thought you were serious. the illusive man isn't stupid enough to go to after life him self he would send one of his hench man to do he's dirty work meanly kei leng. but read mass effect Invasion it shows whom took over and what will be the conclusion of the aftermath. cerberus takes over running a muck with geneticly clone husks called the adjuant. General Oleg Petrovsky is on be half of cerberus and aria wants to take him out... I agree I think they have this in their pockets ready to announce. its a big one.
