My Maleficar rp just didn't work out, I couldn't play up to Blood Mage/Shapeshifter...didn't work

My current one, Dalish Ranger who contronversely falls for Leliana (chantry/Dalish religion clash ) was just getting dull...archers are boring to play as for main character >.>

I'm trying to decide which one to do next...so you tell me which one sounds more interesting

Option 1: An elven blood mage with white hair who has an affinity for the Dalish and despises everything about the chantry

Option 2: A human warrior who follows the chantry's word as law and despises everything the chantry villifies.

Can't figure out which one to play :<

hmmmmm if you want more of a kick I'd say option 1 sounds exciting! I've yet to play a blood mage, my current one is a poor naive elf boy who is afraid to cast a simple fire spell half the time lol

Maybe switch genders/classes too?

Dalish Mage

The Chantry Templar is boring and causes problems in game.  (You Run off Morrigan, Kill Wynne)

A Sexist+Racist Female City Elf Warrior is surprisingly entertaining. More so as a Two-Hand Style Warrior even.
(Make her a Sexy Blood Goddess )

Blood Mage it is...I want to get all possible endings before I use mods to expand the game xD ...and I must play through every possible story before I start on DA2

Theres several mods your missing out on that help the game alot as your just playing it.
Namely bug fix mods and enviromental upgrade mods, there even some that add in cut party banter and dialog.

Support Jowan, and make sure to run him off when you see him in the cage in Red Cliff.
Support Apostates, Blood Mages and Demons. Particularly if the later makes good bargains with you.
Have sex with the Desire Demon.
You can have a intresting time as a Mage who Kills the Circle off but why would you make the Templars stronger?
Always take magical boons.
Do not support the Chantry in any way.

Its a pretty fun game playthrough, has greater meaning in DA if your a Human Mage though as Hawke is your cousin.

I think you need to be registered.

But that mod, no helmut mod (Moves helmets into cape slot so you still get stats from them), some of the bug fix packs are good.

Speaking on the Blood Mage issue. Here's my idea for a Blood Mage RP; I've had such a hard time with one...

But anyway:
After the battle of Ostagar, the Warden accepts a Spirit into him to stay alive. Flemeth plucks the Wadrens from the Tower of Ishal, and the only way the Warden lived was because of his pact with this spirit (Warden becomes a Spirit healer). As the Spirit begins to manifest itself with more vigor, it becomes corrupted and yearns to extend the life of the Warden to stay in the human realm. The Warden, now one with the spirit, becomes corrupted as well, delving into the evils of Blood Magic and Necormancy.

Moreso like Anders in DA2, or any Mage that allows themself to be possed by a spirit.

you cant really do number 1 since the elf is a city elf and has no ties to the dalish whatsoever, im currently doing a dalish rogue assasin duelist, i would reccomend that, nice origin with the eluvian, ending witch hunt going through the mirror which cursed you, and has probably the most references in DA2, most likely with merril and her trying to recreate the mirror, but if you are intent with those 2, id reccomend the second one

Zevran has no ties to the Dalish except his mother and still has an affinity for them so it can be done and is being done :3

if you see the 4 options when talking to the elf mage on the second floor, you have alienage, dont remember, none of your buisness, forgot the other one but i dont think it was dalish, and besides, ive never seen a dalish taken to the circle before, and i doubt the templars would even try and prise one from a clan, so it makes sense that its the city elf, if you want a dalish be a rogue or warrior, to be honest a dalish keeper origin wouldve been good but alas you cant have everything.

i understand where you are going with it though but i couldnt imagine roleplaying it since i wouldnt be able to take it seriously

keyword in my description: affinity

Having an affinity for something doesn't mean you're half dalish or full dalish you know...it means that he has a sense of closeness to them.
