Will he share a quiet moment with FemShep as he slowly passes away? Or will go down in a blaze of glory as he sacrifices himself in the galaxy's fight against the Reapers?

The way I see it, I don't see how Thane can overcome his Kepral's Syndrome come E3. Unless somehow Shepard and his cohorts find some kind of miracle cure, which I feel would be a huge copout  and lessen Thane's dramatic impact as a character.

Pls note that I'm not hating on Thane. I like the character and do think he was a great addition to cast in ME2. But I feel his appearance in ME3 will only have meaning with his death.

He'll be on his death bed by the time ME3 takes place. He said he has 6-8 months. The bioware reps at E3 said ME3 is 6-12 months after ME2.

If he isnt dead or dying and is a squadmate in ME3 I will be extremely upset. It cheapens the story.

If he's dying and is a squad mate that would be the best imho.

He should die from his disease. Make the ME universe seem more realistic instead of everyone getting killed in a huge battle.

It does but it is what I expect (although I really don't care either way).

Nice. I don't like him either though. He's supposed to be this badass assassin who kills without remorse and always gets the job done. But he's actually a p*ssy. He takes no responsibility for his actions, refusing to say that his hits are his fault. And, he prays for forgiveness. He was supposed to be hardcore.

He was already a dying squadmate in ME2.

I'm still curious if they'll do anything about the lung transplant mentioned in LOTSB, since I think that would be an interesting option. He'd still be dying; it's just a desperate attempt to keep him alive a little longer. We get to keep him through ME3, and there's no deus ex machina. Not to mention the character development that would take place; I'd prefer that to a quick death scene halfway through the game that no one mentions again.

If he does end up dying, I just hope it's done well. Whether he goes out in a blaze of glory or in a hospital bed, have it be emotional and memorable. Really, this goes for all the deaths in the game. Let me feel something for these characters.

No, I mean like it's a liability to the effort. That would add an interesting dynamic, especially if your femshep romanced Thane.

He wont die from Kepral's Syndrome…I hope. I'm hoping Mordin can come up with a cure for Thane.

This is what I want. I mean even though it was just a very small side note, Mordin did mention trying to cure Joker, so it isn't far fetched to assume he'd try to help Thane too; and I'm sure he's intelligent enough, I mean even though Thane says the Hanar can't fix it Mordin did remake the genophage so who knows what he's capable of.

Mordin discovering a cure for Thane would be more fan service than Miranda's giant ass itself. That would cheapen the story a lot IMHO.

haha this was really good. Thanks for making me laugh. Although IDK what thane could have done to warrant this (other than his creepy close ins during conversations).

Doesn't my avatar do that already?

Anyway, I want his death to be good or there to be no death at all, and that also to be written very well. And by "written well" I mean him being nude occasionally.

Nope your avatar gets me horny

EDIT: He will die in a sauna.

Shep: Here we are Thane, a hot place.
Thane: Siha I didn`t mean this, there is high humidity... barrgg

"Then his skin turns, swells and explodes" at least is naked xD

I would like to see him die doing something really cool. Sniper shot some reaper weakspot while it crashes on him. I like Thane. He has some interesting conversations. But if he dies it would be cool I'm sure.

Having him kick some ass John McClane/Roger Murtaugh "I'm getting too old (sick) for this" style during the game and then succumbing to his disease near the end of the game after a tender moment with FemShep would be pretty good, I think.

My hope is While Shep is on trial he dies and shep gets to his side just missing his passing and we get an explosive cutscene if he was our LI, I want drama and angst and tragedy.
