I dont agree with the order they are in but I do agree pretty much on what this guy says about it.
Also like to add they said they will be adding PvP lakes one all the servers there, like are RvR lakes here.
8 classes to chose from and then at lvl 10 it splits at AC. Which then become 16 total classes in all.
You can be evil Jedi or a Good sith.  You do not have to be evil or good depending on your faction.

All in all.  I like what I see so far.

Number 9 reason to play SWTOR:
"EA..."
I dont think that will convince a lot of WAR players.

When i read about or see SWTOR vidoes I fail to see anything other then a WoW Star Wars clone, made for ppl that like to PvE 80-90% of the time and PvP (not realm vs realm) 10-20% of the time.

The way I see it is this...
Mythic = DAOC (Success)
EA/Mythic = Warhammer (Epic fail)

Bioware = Neverwinter Nights/Baldurs Gate etc (Success)
EA/Bioware = SWTOR (If the above pattern represents anything....)

WAR was failing before the EA buyout. Mythic went to EA to attempt saving the company. If they didn't, WAR DAOC and UO would of went under.

More than Rift probly.

On topic, 1 reason not to try SWTOR: EA used our subs money in SWTOR instead of fixing WAR.

It will have to have better PvP than WAR for me to move as I very much enjoy the WAR PvP at present and have worked hard to get the chars I have.

Do I want to start afresh in a new MMO..not sure yet.

Whether it's true or not, it sure feels like it.  So it might as well be true.

Not interested... sorry. Love Star Wars, but... sorry not interested. I wonder how many went to Rift, and haven't come back because they were braying about how great it was going to be, but it wasn't?

If you went to Rift, just come back... you know you want to... all is forgiven...

Is that matches and gasoline I see being puled out... flame me... meh like it matters...

Sorry my coffee hasn't kicked in.

i may try it just because I love star wars...but the game-play would have to be pretty epic for me to spend any substantial time away from WAR.

It will be huge, maybe not wow huge but easily the 2nd biggest mmo ever. Comparing it to rift is a joke. Still I doubt it will effect war a great deal, lets face it those left are the die hards.

I'll be playing TOR even if the pvp sucks. Love the originals.

It will most likely have good pvp but the thing is it's pvp not rvr it will work differently to how war does it despite there being 3 different kinds of pvp it will not be the same way war does it.

Well Gabe Amatangelo is working on the PvP so it should be good. Hopefully. Sounds like they are taking immersion into the gameplay too which is awesome. Even if I'm not a pvp person.

My counter points on why I am NOT interested
10. Bioware has never been proven for MMOs and Star Wars has so many different things its impossible to follow the story and not get a headache.
9. EA? I'm not in the camp that thinks EA is evil but giving that as a reason is just silly. They have deep pockets for a reason and it isn't to make us happy. Funny he brings up World of Warcraft. After my time with that an MMO is going to REALLY WOW me to get me to spend a cent on it (pun intended)
8. So its like their single player games with real people? I can romance my friend without being a wierd RPer? bah it sounds cool if it works but it sounds gimmicky.
7. This one confuses me? He's saying that other players can do the work for you? So its like asking your tailor friend to make the magic carpet... How is that different?
6. Whats the point? I know plenty of tank players who rocked pvp I had a bear Druid that I did pretty good honestly. This means nothing
5. OOOH lots of content? Really? Its an MMO content that never ends is just part of the territory. 200 hours to get to max level? Yay I can't wait to do that again. There is no indication that it wont be just more of the same kind of quests. Sure the full voice acting quest givers sounds cool but if I'm just collecting X amount of something then the novelty will lose its appeal very quickly.
4. Awesome so its a hack N slash... I'm sorry if I'm being way too negative but if the lack of auto attack is this high on the list I don't have much hope for the rest of it.
3. Ummm not sure what this means. Making things easier for the player I guess thats a + but its far from anything to be excited about.
2. Ok I have to concede this one. If the size of the game world is as big as he says than I can't deny how awesome that sounds. But size alone can't carry a game. If the game feels like World of Starwarscraft then the size will only make it feel more empty.
1. YAY? So its Mass Effect with jedis then? Its funny how the fact that there IS a story in an MMO is enough to get excited. I don't know about anyone else but I ignored the story in WoW aside from that awesome cutscene in WotLK. It all loses any relevance when you realize its all static. I am very skeptical about this to the point that I just can't see it working in an online game of this scale. Oh sure there are choices and looky there its the dialog wheel but unless my choices affect the game world around me its no different than reading the quest givers dialog and clicking accept.

I can see you have not even looked into the game at all... Also dont think you even listened to the video... just commited on pics. If you would have been listening you would understand what campanions are.  Plus you would understand that each class has its own unique storyline in it.

Thats your opinoin and I respect it but dont make things up so you can fill out a 10-1 reasons you dont like it.

Of course I didn't look into the game. I'm not interested I think thats the whole point of what I said. But I watched the entire video and my counter posts are related to that and should be enough.
I'll admit certain aspects of the game look cool but I am extremely jaded of MMOs at this point and skeptical that they can pull off everything.

Thanks to EA's and Bioware's retarded decision to make the digital edition Origin exclusive, I won't buy the game.

One reason not to buy it:

1. It's not available to Australian fans at launch.

Thanks Bioware!

And half the remaining world...

They say North America and Europe but some countries in the middle of Europe excluded...

İn days like these we should stand up and applause for Rift's devolopersfor such a clean and wider opening...

Just spent about a billion pounds on the CE pre-order, that's a pretty good reason to play it I think. It would be a waste no to, now.
