I just feel its just racial hate cause he seems brazilian/colombian or any other place from the Hispanic race. He got the hispanic look and his last name seems hispanic, so yeah. Personally I love how they keep adding more humans from different races. We already had white (alot) black, Asian, and Arab so its good to see the Hispanic at last. The ONLY thing i dont like its that this one looks like he is going to brake in half and wont be as straight as he should be, which personally i find it disturbing if he hint things at my shepard, he better keep it to himself or others.

Meh he doesn't look to bad. I mean the face could use some sprucing up and he can get rid of the damn mohawk but other than that I see no reason to really bash Vega. This is pretty much just another hate thread on a character no one really knows anything about. I'm not saying we like him or even not at least critic his appearance a bit. Just don't try and make assumptions of the character like its a straight up fact and then bash bioware for supposedly making a generic character. Its stupid and a pointless waste of time.

Who cares what he looks like? He'll either be a good character or he won't, but we won't know that just by looking at a picture.

Honestly? How many threads do there have to be on this guy? Almost all of them hating this guy James Vega, who we know NOTHING about other than the fact that he's new to the underbelly of the galaxy. We have only seen two pictures of this guy, and people are acting like it's his whole life story, so what he's big and has a slight hawk hairstyle. Do we really know how he'll act or how he'll fight? You know I like his look, we haven't had a human with his sort of build on the team yet, Krogans don't count. This is just beginning to get ridiculous.

I peeked into this thread with the vague hope that the topic might have some merit. But I'm not seeing it.

We know pretty much nothing about Vega. So he's your typical looking macho guy. Doesn't mean he's going to act like douche or whatever pre-disposed stereotype you garnered just by looking at him. If you feel his look is cliche shooter stuff (which admittedly does sort of seem to the case) then you needed to be more outspoken about ME2's character design which is basically when this ball started rolling.

Frankly I have little issue with Vega's look as he at least wears a proper suit (as shown in the latest trailer when he's got the Widow). Why object to something you know nothing about?
