He actually looks and sounds more like Jonathan Cake.

I thought he looked familier. Maybe if he was English Statham might sound like that.

That would ruin the America in Space thing that games have been doing for years.LiquidLogic2020 wrote...

A clip from the gameplay teaser trailer showed multiple landing sights on individual planets, in the trailer it was Tuchanka; I think travelling to London in this multiple-battlefield style and meeting the lone British sniper would be fun and add to the story.

(about to go off of my own topic but...)
not necassarily british, but any accent apart from american. the only characters i can thing of who arn't american are the quarian admiral, Zaeed, and Tali (not sure what her accent is but its not american)
surely the alliance represents all of earth?
Edit: and Miranda

Miranda sounds australian and apparently David Anderson was born and raised in London despite his american accent. You also have people like Chakwas (english) and Ken the engineer (fake scottish accent).

I thought i saw a comment saying the british sniper will not be in ME3
Source on that anyone?
I hope hes in ME3. I really like the look of him. I know we dont know much about Vega, but Sniper still seems far more interesting to me...
Plus he's all alone and trapped in the Clock Tower and my femshep want to go rescue him and that voice!![]()
He's got that whole "Jason Statham" thing going on.
"Doorbell rings. Cerberus Op looks through peephole to see foot-to-door-to-face."
Zaeed says: "Give a badarse a goddam badarse Brit voice and you get ME. Oh, and Nigel "Fish and Chips" and Jason Statham.

*sigh* why do people always want to pick on Americans? Anyway I think people are looking into the British Sniper thing to much. I think the guy in the trailer was just supposed to be a generic soldier used for the trailer.

Others say upon purchasing some new decking, he sanded it, with his own scalp.
All we know is... he's called Nigel.

I don't think people are picking on americans, it's just that some people don't want every human squadmate to be american simply because it would be more realistic.

In fact, technically most of them would probably be Chinese. But I wouldn't want that.
Maybe if they didn't put the British sniper in they could get a Russian heavy or a French spy (TF2, I know)? classic characters that are a little less used than your typical, muscular, american, bald headed, hard man, marine

It's not that, it just pretty dull with nearly every human having the same dull accent, would be nice to have some variety.

Kaidan is Canadian, Ashley grew up all over on different colonies, Miranda has an Australian accent, Zaeed sounds British, Jack has probably never even been to Earth, Kasumi is Japanese, only Jacob might be American. When Shepard mentions the alliance ships lost in the battle of Citadel none of them are named after American cities. In fact the only American thing I can think of is Lady Liberty's head, so thanks alot. Oh and Lady Liberty's head is in the posession of Donavon Hock who has a French accent.

He made it to the Winchester. And now he's gonna stay there till this whole thing blows over. Either that or keep calm and carry on. There are probably people in London during all that still going to work and complaining about the long commute.
