Would have liked for Anders to temporarily release Meredith from insanity like he did Bertrand, then have Meredith commit suicide.
Dialogue options you would've liked to have.

Hawke in the Final Act: You see that thing in your hand, Sebastian? That's a bow. That thing on your back? That has arrows in it. If you want him dead, you do it. I won't stop you.

Talk hawke's mum out of finding male companionship
Tell sebastien to kill anders if he wants him dead so badly
Tell Elthina to get off her arse and do something about the templar vs. mage issue

I thought that Hawke could say something to that effect, but she still insists that it'll all sort itself out in the end if everyone is patient. (The flaw in that logic is the fact that nobody is being patient.)PizzaThe Hutt wrote...

I can't think of anything new that someone else hasn't already stated.

Not so much a dialog option, but I think the following scene would have been awesome.
(Fenris is sitting at the Hanged Man, Anders sits at the same table)
Anders: Plight of mages.
Fenris: Corruption of blood magic.
Anders: Drink?
Fenris: Please.
(They both drink)
Anders: Heh...Varric was right, this is much easier.
Fenris: He has his moments.

Excellent work! Something like that would have made the pair of them much more tolerable.
More ideas!
Arishok: One day, we shall return.
Diplomatic!Hawke: And on that day, I'll be there to stop you.
Snarky!Hawke: Make sure you have a reservation beforehand, the taverns in Kirkwall can get rather crowded if you don't book in advance.
Aggressive!Hawke: By all means! Kicking the **** out of Qunari is quickly becoming my favourite hobby!

Maybe it's just me, but I wish there was some way to try and connect with Viscount Dumar after his son was killed, rather than either snark at him (you horrible person) or basically tell him to get up and do his job. At this point, Hawke has lost at least his mother and a brother/sister, possibly both siblings. Maybe something along these lines:
(Hawke moves to crouch near the Viscount, not to close but not too far) "Your Excellency... I know how much this hurts, and I am so, so sorry that I didn't get here in time to prevent this. The pain will never leave you, but if we sit by and do nothing, then Petrice wins in the end. She'll get the war she wanted, even from the grave. Your Excellency... Seamus wanted peace in the city, and though his methods may not have been effective, that is a worthy goal. Kirkwall needs peace... there are so many more sons that will die... so many more fathers that will be left alone... if this continues along the path it is on. Please, Your Excellency, there's still time to make sure that the woman who did this doesn't have the last laugh. Seamus should never have died, and he wasn't the first to lose his life because of this nightmare, but if action is taken, we can ensure that he is the last" (Hawke stands up after a moment of silence) "If you need anything from me, anything at all, I'm only a message away." (Hawke waits for a moment longer, and if Dumar doesn't respond, s/he leaves the Chantry)
It doesn't even have to work, I'd just have liked the option to try and make him feel better. He looked so sad, holding his son, and I knew he wasn't long for the world himself:crying:.

In the third act, when I'm asked to investigate the magi who are sneaking out at night, I see templars. Templars who have decided Meredith has gone too far and want to create a circle where magi aren't oppressed into fear and/or rebellion.
I always hated how the game literally forces me to kill them all. At the very least I would have liked the option to try to speak to them. An option to sympathize with their cause and ask to join them. Even if the inevitable result was them not believing me and branding me as Meredith's untrustworthy lapdog.

Romance accept/reject options that straddle a middle ground between "YES! YES! OH YES!" and "How DARE you look at me like that, you disgusting creature!" would be nice indeed. Why can't I have an option to let them down gently, or at the very least diplomatically?
My Hawke never got any real opportunity to tell Sister Petrice how angry and disgusted she was after learning of her manipulations. The "You've made an enemy" response didn't do what was advertised on the tin, and instead, Hawke ends up saying something insipid and wimpish (can't even remember what it was now, but it wasn't very satisfying at all - I wanted to verbally stick it to her).
In fact.. truth be told, I'd just be happy if the stuff my character actually says properly mirrors the paraphrased version on the dialogue wheel, that shouldn't be too much to ask.
But of course, the most frustrating dialogue limitations of all occur in Act 3, when confronting the rebel Mages. Absolutely no opportunity whatsoever to reason with them, explain that my Hawke was on their side and trying to help them, no chance to take sides, in fact no opportunity to control my character whatsoever... just enter the scene, and the total railroading begins grrrr.....

"Why, yes Anders I do want to help you to blow up the chantry. I was so afraid you wouldnt ask." mage Hawke asked. This would be enough. Consideriring it was so obvious what he was about to do. Well I suppose I did helped him.
Actually I would rewrite a lot, but this is something I was missing a lot. Especially the mentioned quest with templars siding with mages in third quest.
Simple "I keep telling you I want Meredith dead too, why are you still attacking me!" wouldl suffice. Option to let them stop fighting me. The we could all be happy, dance together and plan Meredith dead. I rage quitted too many times in the third act. Chantry Boom was the only bright moment in there...
