So far as I know, only the core classes and any custom class in line 255 work. This means you can effectively only have one custom class. Any other class would probably work just fine, apart from the fact that you can't get levels in it because after apparently leveling up, it tells you that it's disallowed and you realise you haven't actually leveled up at all.painofdungeoneternal wrote...
Without SOZ, the custom classes end up getting buggy, not really something i think kaedrin can fix but more of a game bug. ( i think they think they are the restricted classes in SOZ ).

I'd be completely thrilled if someone made an attempt at restoring OC cut content, and willing to help in any way I can. I know my way around the toolset well enough, can do some scripting, and writing (though theoretically we wouldn't be writing anything new)...feel free to call on me if you decide to move forward with this project and need some help.
As a first step I'd suggest sifting through the voice files and looking for ones that don't show up in the game. That should give you a fairly good idea of what's missing, and of what there is to work with. Voice acting for companions and other already-voiced NPCs is pretty much the only thing that can't be recreated if it's missing. Well, I suppose it could be, but it would break immersion somewhat to have different voices for the same characters...
Anyway, give me a holler if you need help. I really hope you decide to move forward with this.

I can see an NWN2 Unfinished Business happening. I've actually thought of doing something similar for NWN1; it's perfectly possibly, as a remake or a mod.

Not all the 'cut content' concerns the plot line either. There are lots of references to features that never made it into the game, scattered throughout the 2DA files. I recently experimented with reactivating caltrops, and Hellfire is in the process of creating ridable mounts. There is also an unused subrace - the ghostwise halfling.
