Very nice, Ieldra, your Rani is very similar to what I was going for with Leo. Too bad she got stuck with "canon" status so kept her ME1 appearance, disappearing eyelashes and all (really hope we get those freckles back in ME3!)

I have Mass Effect Genesis, so each start is an extra 15 mins than normal. :/

Disappearing eyelashes...have I missed something? Rani, Rhea and May are unmodified ME1 imports....rather annoying actually, because I've never been able to recreate them in the ME2 character generator and now I have no facecodes for them.

I hope they'll include a facecode generator for ME1 imports in ME3.

The eyelashes on some of the eyes clip into the eyebrow ridges and disappear.  I haven't noticed it on the eyeshape I prefer, so all three Sheps of mine have the same eyes.

lately - I've just been designing shepards in ME2 and then converting facecodes to sliders, personally. with the exception of some of the makeup choices, they translate very well (and since i almost don't use any make up and/or mod it in ME2 - it doens't matter)

speaking of Asian Sheps - I'm partial to my Jade. she is supposed to be of Japanese decent and I think i did all right with her.  I just modded her hair and lip color, becasue I didn't like how it transfered from ME1, but other then that - she's still ME1 import self

Now that the cattiness and fighting of the previous 24 hours is largely over, I'll bite too:

My canon Jack's man John Shepard (Paragade, Earthborn, Sole Survivor, SoldierInfiltrator) with whom Ashley broke up on Horizon.


My alternate (possibly forever alone) Jane Shepard (Renegon, Spacer, Ruthless, Infiltrator (for now)) who might lose Kaidan on Vrimire as extra drama.

So I'm running through ME1 with a male Shep for the first time! His name is Linda Shepard (giving him good reason for people just calling him Shepard), he prefers dudes, and he's currently wondering what he did to get Ash to like him so much. Whoops!



Meanwhile, Jei is more Spiderman than Superman. Oh sure, she'll save the world and be a badass, but she'll be smirking and wisecracking the whole way through. (All she needs now is Joker to cosplay as Mary Jane. Tee hee.)





Re: photomanips, I don't do them often, but whenever I do, I prefer to use DevArt's stock section so I can work with their rules and credit them appropriately. Hell, I even credit people whose stock I use purely for pose reference. It's my way of saying thanks for the help. :> (My most recent photomanip is, coincidentally, of my Jei Shepard. Gratuitous link, ho!)

Oh wow, for some reason I thought they were created in ME2, now you get even more mad props for awesome talent And yeah, Sia is correct about the eye issue, the clipping isn't always a problem and after awhile it stops clipping altogether but they never quite have that more bold look that most ME2 eyes have. Guess I'll have to fiddle with settings a bit more to get things just right, have been tentative about modifying Leo's appearance since she was my first creation but if there are more options in ME3 it might be tempting to give her a few touch ups.

That isn't my case. Even after hours of work on any character creator they look like barf. I really like default Man Shepard as he looks believable but default Lady Shepard looks fake.

In a tangent matter, anyone tried pulling of Shepard to look like FF-XII's Lighting (voiced by Hale too I think)?
