This thread has my support. Good to see a proper thread that supports both Shepard of the same sex.
Since I play on Xbox, I'll just leave some artwork.

Only played Sheploo once as an experiement, but I REALLY like these. Very nicely done. Sheploo is a hottie, even if he can't smile properly.
And re: Shep being bisexual:
I think it's pretty clear that Shepard is partly what the game allows, but largely what each player makes of him/her. For that reason, Shep could already 'be' bisexual in a certain player's mind and yet that player simply hasn't been able to follow that storyline for their Shep.
Giving players the option to pursue additiona and same-sex romances is, I think, a great move on BioWare's part, because it increases the depth to which each person can develop their Shepard.
I'm all for allowing more character development by opening up romance/dialog/friendship options and letting each player decide how they want to pursue those options. Now, I do understand the worry that opening up, say Kaidan/Ashley to same-sex romance is messing with their characters and re-writing them (I totally disagree with that argument, but I understand the worry all the same), in Shepard's case, so much about Shepard is defined by the player that opening up bisexuality is simply allowing people to have Shepard act on what some of players already knew about their Shepards. It just allows that Shepard to be who he/she is.
So, in short, I don't think you can 'make' Shepard a bisexual. Shepard is a bisexual in some player's ME universe, and he/she is not in others. I think allowing options for Shepard to pursue his/her inclinations, bisexual or otherwise, allows for a deeper story and that, imo, is a good thing.
