My god . . . has there actually been some sanity injected into this fandom? Is it actually possible that I am not the only person that supports Commander Shepard as a character and not as one specific gender? Could a miracle have occurred and people actually grasp the fact that there is no need to make gender preference a competition? Cynical Response: I give it 3 hours before a full-out war between militant fem Shep supporters and obnoxious male Shep supporters erupts. However, if this thread does manage to accomplish the intention, I would be extremely happy. People need to understand that people playing as one gender does not detract from their own personal enjoyment of the other and that you don't need to force your own personal preference down peoples' throats.

3 hours? That sounds like the optimist responce, it's already started. You aren't the only one who supports Shepard as Shepard... there are two of us at least.

We understand that you love Sheploo, but criticizing other Shepards vs. Sheploo isn't the point of this thread.  We should strive to accept all Shepards as they are.
