Come to think of this, I suppose the thread should separate as in Default Shepard and Custom Shepard......

At least people can show their love to their 'own' Shepard, it may sounds odd to others but love toward between default and custom is different. Since you have 'created' this character, there are tons of connection between myself and my Shepard. The connection will never be the same imo

Anyway, this is just my opinion...

I belong in to the maleShep and femShep splitting group. Why? Because they are two different characters (at least in my opinion) and also for the sake of readability. It worked really well in ME2 forums and both threads were very clean. In my opinion it's still something to consider about.

I made them pretty much identical, and it wasn't until that moment in ME2, that I realized I should have called them Bruce and Willis

I find it easier, at least to me, to separate them somehow. It's somewhat difficult to think them as one since they obviously look so different (i.e. different gender).

This arrangement feel a bit like Kaidan and Ashley thread put together.

But that's just me.

Sorry, on normal basis, I would agree on your idea but not on him. It seems you don't really understand what I said.

Sheploo is the ABSOLUTE, the icon of ME merchadise and he has the face from a model. His backstory and class will always be the same no matter how you want to role play it.

But with 'your very own' custom Shepard, you create him/her from scratches, from the class, backstory, cheek bone and so on. We are talking about the character you make, not about the 'story of Shepard'.

In short, custom Shepard is very close and personal to the player.
One more thing I wanted to point out is, the idea to 'united' Shepard's fan is ideal but also lack of consideration on other's will.

To be honest, this thread is just more like a place to admire sheploo, rather than ALL Shepard. Don't label me as a hater, we all KNOW this is what's going in this thread. This is also the reason why this thread has low traffic because people can't relate their love of Shepard in here. You now see my point? As long as those 'you know who' troll makes all the unconstructive comment, this thread will NEVER work as you think it will be.

Try different face shapes with different sets of lips.  Some fit better than others.

Last time I checked you can still choose your own backstory and class while still using Sheploo/Default Femshep.

I use Sheploo and I have zero problems seeing him as "my" Shepard, just because I use a face provided to me. Afterall, Shepard's last name and job are also set in stone.
