I tried to have a sheploo PT but he was just too bland for me. Plus I know I can make better looking Shepard's like My Canon MShep. Plus I like to give the LI's something more than an underwear model, not bagging on anyone who does use Sheploo or finds him attractive, just my take on defaults.

Garrus goes up to the captain quarters and hears some weird music. He enters the room and sees Shepard almost naked, only wearing boxers doing the pelvis dance with "I'm too sexy" sounding in the background.

The ME CC is not the best, but still, I never use the default (in any game).   I wanted to do a 60’s era Connery Shep, but he ended up looking more like the love child of Arnold Schwarzenegger and John Agar.  He eventually grew on me and making him mostly renegade didn’t hurt either.  Sheploo is well made, but I like to make the character my own, not based on me, but of my own creation.

Seriously, you don't want to see the Cro-Magnons I made. It has to look right or I ditch it. I haven't got the slightest clue what male looks attractive or not (that's for women to decide) but I can tell when he's not human.

in hindsight my very first Shepard - a femShep - looked like a mix of Ellen Ripley from Alien 3 and the creature from Splice (haven't seen the movie, just some promo images)

as for the mShep looking somewhat like Bruce Willis ... I didn't plan that, nor did I try to make my Shepard super attractive; after playing through ME1 once with a femShep I just thought ... okey, what kind of look would fit a (male) Shepard and that's what happened *shrug*
I just added the goaty for cuteness I admit

Well I usually use default male shepard. That model is well made and its iconic. I will start a femshep playthrough in a week when I get some free time. I'll make a custom shepard for that. Just hope she don't endup looking like this.

I used Sheploo in my first playthrough. I needed a view months to create two custom Shepards I really liked and it was by far, more enjoyable to play. The character creation is one of the weak points in Mass Effect. Without the community I would still be playing default Shepards.
I never had so much problems in DA, AION or the Sims, like in ME.
Sheploo looks good but with his more detailed textures, he always looks out of place for me.
But Sheploo and the new Jane Shepard will still have their uses when I check out all the new romance options.

Femshep animations and voice acting in ME1 is better than I expected. I can't wait to get to ME2 with this. I'll upload some screenshots of my femshep soon.

On another note:
Look at this ME3 gameplay video. Gameplay looks good and sheps animations are solid. But the things that bug me are the AI which looks pretty bad. Enemies sometimes just stand there waiting to be killed. Maybe they'll fix that before release. And the animations are way too fast(look at 0.22 in the vid). I like the fact the enemies use the omni blade. That should be fun.
I hope the story is improved just like fight mechanics.

Nah, on Monday night its the sacrificing virgin chickens. Tuesday is poker night. Wedesday night we dance naked under the moon. Tursday is tea and crumpets night. Friday is usually our bake sale. Saturday is book club night. And Sunday we fast in honor of our Lady.

Don't worry about it, its hard to depict someones tone through text. I know what you mean though he doesn't take anyones sh*t! He's had sex with the Consort, Jack, and Liara twice! One of my playthroughs ihe did Miranda too and cheated on Liara but I plan to go through again and stay faithful to Liara. The Asari this Shep breeds will be Black Asari instead of Blue. Thats how much of a badass MOFO!!! HE IS!!!

Edit: By no pun intended I meant by the fact that I said he's black and he's infiltrator. Not sure if that was clear enough.
