I support Commander Shepard, whether portrayed as male or female. It's fascinating to see how diverse people's perceptions of the character can be.
I haven't played Mass Effect in some time, so I don't have any actual shots, but here:

I apologize in advance for how rough it looks; this is just a
crappy quick pencil outline. It'[ll be inked and colored eventually; I just haven't gotten around to it yet.
His name's Hanlon. The reason he's done up in an admiral's uniform is because, in my headcanon, all three 'background' options (War Hero, Butcher of Torfan, Sole Survivor) exist in the same universe. It's just that only one of them is actually 'Shepard'.
Why the Alliance would promote aforementioned Butcher of Torfan instead of, I dunno, court-martialing him for his rampant Ax Craziness is beyond me- but hell,
I'm not going to argue with him.
Canon!Shep, in my case, is a female Sole Survivor. An Infiltrator, to be precise, by the name of Vielle. Whoa lordy did she ever get slapped with a boatload of emotional problems.
I do have 'shots of her; to avoid cluttering up the thread, I'll just stick with one.
She's also the woman in my icon.
