Avery Shepard:  1/4 Chinese, rest is Irish/German/American Mutt.  But she was born on Mindoir.  Parents were the town veterinarian and one of the teachers.

Meghan Shepard:  American Mutt, though predominately Scandinavian/Irish/and maybe some Mexican a little further back.  Born in Houston, Texas.  Mother was a junkie/hooker, father was a pimp.

Rachel Shepard:  African/Swedish/Native American.  Raised in Cairo, Egypt.  Doesn't know where she was born.  Orphaned when her parents died in a shuttle crash there, she was never claimed by her nearest relatives.

Tiia's mom was Finnish and father Canadian (who happened to be half Finn). So that makes her 1/4 Canadian and 3/4 Finn. She's a colonist so she lived her childhood on Mindoir. After the incident she moved back to Earth for military training.

UJ is predominately Scotch-Irish w/ a mix of Norwegian and Siberian ancestry.  She also has a small sampling of African and Native American ancestry as well.  She was born on Mindoir. Her father is originaly from Kentucky.  Her mother attended Duke University in NC.

To answer the question, Gabriel is a spacer so I can't/haven't put a origin on him. But I think his ancestors were from Africa.

Sounds really creative from everyone. Anyone have any fan art of their own custom character that they dream of putting in mass effect 3? If you do post it in the forum of mass effect character push. It´s something I developed to actually make an attempt to catch bioware´s eye. Character appearance and a brief bio and then when i get enough characters, I will do polls so all of us can vote the best character. After that we can make a thread for the winner and try to push that character for bioware to put in .

My Jane was born on Earth. As a child she was not even sure that 'Shepard' was her real name. But on the Citadel she met a strange person who said he knew her parents. Her mother Miroslava was born in Russia and her father Jonh was from Canada. So Jane is half Russian. She speaks both English and Russian perfectly. Jane's father was a capitan of the spaceship "Silver Arrow". And her mother was a military doctor, she served on that ship.

Charlie Shepard

She was born to unknown parents in San Francisco, and she knows she's at least half white/black and that's all she really cares about actually. Her family never came looking for her, and the lovely streets of the slums didn't really care either, LOL.

She did some pecking around after enlisting... could maaaaybe have a sprinkle of German or Polish in her blood but she gave up after a while.

Charlie grew up a typcial duct rat on the streets of Earth. She considers herself a Huck Finn of the 22nd Century.

Ok. I just have to pop in here and say this. I was flipping through Vogue today and I saw Shepard's face (Mark Vanderloo) and he was modeling a pair of sunglasses. It was a bit difficult for me to accept the fact that the savior of the galaxy was modeling. It just seems contradictory.

I care about Vanderloo he's hot. And yes I love his wife's hair. I think that's his wife. They are a lovely celeb model couple. I do hope they allow us to give femshep some longer hair in ME3. The default shep that won the facebook contest has long hair.
