Erin is a vanguard but in ME1 she used nothing but her pistol. In ME2 her weapons of choice goes:
shotgun (Eviscerator) > Mattock (will not use any other assault rifle at all) > hand canon (Phalanx)
For heavy weapons she uses the Arc Projector almost exclusively.

For Olivia, it is definitely the Avenger.

For Orion, it is definitely the sniper rifle. Loves the CAIN though.

Hmmm... for me it would assault rifles( revenant) particularily since thanks to gibbed I can mod them into my games for all of my Shepard's:devil:, then shotguns( claymore), then smg's( kassa locust), finally sniper rifles( which I actually like the incisor more than the collector ship weapon)...

I'm a bit too lazy hassle with weapons but she gets her armour right from the beginning (uh... with Kestrel armour buffs and ammo pack bonus, she's actually wearing invisible helmet too ).

I'm a new pc gamer for what it's worth...so, I'm still getting used to whole being able to mod my games to death thing( though I have a TON of active mods for when I play DA 2). 

It looks like the widow sniper rifle is the clear favorite among people here.

Qiyana favors the reach of a sniper rifle. Always a good idea to put your opponent at a disadvantage if at all possible. 100+ meters out and you're at her mercy. Which brand of sniper rifle? I'd say Viper works best for her. More shots fired over a shorter period of time if she needs it and it has the best dps as well.

Jamie loves the Mattock. A lot more control with that rifle than the Vindicator.

Madhuri also loves the Viper sniper rifle. With infiltrator dilation that's 3 to 4 precise shots (I think) with 8 to 9 more ready to go after she leaves cover again.

Marielle favors her pistol. Particularly Predator. Or she will when I get her over to ME2.

Hm. Riza, an Infiltrator, is really liking the Mattock.



Viper is for long distance targets and the Locust for when the Mattock runs out of clips.

Otherwise.... The Cain.



When you really don't need those 100 credit salvage rewards.





Oh, forgot Riza's other favorite "weapon" if Incinerate counts...

Luck mainly. I used the coalesced editor to make f10 stop all action, f11 take away the hud and f12 to activate fly cam. Managed to hit f10 at just the right moment and tap it a few times to move the action along a bit.

Otherwise, I spam fraps's "take a screenshot" button during important cutscenes so I end up with things like this:



"Did you dump a lot of napalm on it to keep it going?" "I said I don't want to talk about it anymore."



"Uh, Liara? Taunting a yahg seems to have its drawbacks." "I am beginning to see that, Shepard."

Edit: Sometimes you have to use the freeze option, then trigger a dialogue and then move flycam to get it into position. Saving the game right before you do that so you can reload is also useful in case the camera isn't in a good spot when you restart the action.




Edit2: Be warned: If you do start playing around with flycam, the amount of time it takes for you to get through some areas will increase almost tenfold.

Poor Xbox peons like me can't get any screenshots at all.  I had to ask another forum-goer to take some pics for me (Shenzi is the best!).

Phalanx Pistol, Viper Sniper Rifle (if I'm a class that can use sniper rifles), Locust SMG, Arc Projector, Geth Plasma Shotgun are my favorite weapons to take into the fight. And don't you find it odd that once Arc Projector got released it virtually trumped all the other heavy weapons?

NOPE! Because that's just how badass a heavy weaon is supposed to be!

So far I tend to use the Arc Projector at one point: that part in Stealing Memory when Security Chief Roe and some goons enter the vault to kill you. Usually I manage to kill/cripple Roe and kill maybe half the goons.

I always use it on that gunship at the end of that mission( as well as the one at the end of Garrus' recruit mission)...beyond that I use the collector particle beam once I acquire it...though I find the arc projector is still useful in other areas...if I WANT to use a heavy weapon...

Well, after spending way too long running around the Dantius Tower (seriously, the mercs must have had to break out a pack of cards or something while they were waiting for me), I finally acquired an action shot I like.

Neural Shock is an awesome power.

Nice Job! Yeah, neural shock is good power...good thing it's back to being a standard power in ME 3! Your Shep is cute btw...
