Jentha was a cutey, but she was standing on the wrong side of my gun, her fate could not be helped. And unfortunately for her, I don't think anyone is going to Lazarus her lol.

Man would love if Bioware took her face/hair model and used it as one of the presets for femshep in ME3, she does look pretty good....but uh.....somehow i dont think Incendiary ammo allows for Lazarus Project. Sorry dude, keep dreaming though.

She could have just been injured in the fight. Basically she goes down when Tarak shows up in the gun ship. We take care of Tarak, and get Garrus to the Normandy. We leave thinking everything's taken care of, but Jentha's still kicking. She grabs one of Garrus' med kits in that room and patches herself up the best she can.

It's ridiculously easy to make it so she actually survived. Her ability to live or die wasn't a choice we could make so it doesn't have an effect on anything. The only problem is she'll more than likely be looking for revenge considering she actually seems to value her relationship with Tarak. Weird that one. *shrug*

Yeah, death by dialogue option seems to be a lot more permanent than death in combat (see Shepard in Arrival, or various bad guys in DA whom you think you've just killed, only to have them recover a few hit points and ask whether you'll let them limp away or go ahead and finish them off).

My understanding is that Gianna's and Shiala's appearances in ME2 were just added as a nod to people who liked them in ME1, so who knows.

there's really no reason for her to be dead. it's highly unlikely that EVERY merc shepard has shot is as dead as a doornail. with the progression of technology I wouldn't be suprised if the survival rate is around 25%.

I'm pretty sure being shot with burning incendiary ammo and then thrown through a window to the ground from an undetermined height means 99% death. At least that's how she died on my game.

that's still something that could be passed off as an "I don't know how I'm still alive" conversation option. besides, I highly doubt the games saves the info of how exactly you killed certain enemies.

I'm betting that the ammo type doesn't factor into it at all and being thrown through a window...maybe she landed on a ledge.  If they make her live there's no way you can be upset about it because you didn't have an active decision to end her life like say, Shiala or the Rachni.

yeah, ammo type definitley would not be a consideration. I doubt everyone hit by incendiary ammo would be reduced to ash in RL.

Bioware has a history of killing off cool, likable characters especially villains like Jentha, Tela Vasir and Saren. Instead we get stuck with third rate bland, boring nobodies like Jacob & Vega. I would have had Tela & Jentha survive and for MASS EFFECT 3 make them recruitable temporary squadmates and make Jentha romanceable. Tela Vasir would be married and Shep looks embarrassed when he hits on her.

Good word Bioware!

Though her model did make an appearance in Kasumi's loyalty mission. So I take that as a cameo for those that liked Jentha.

Like Joker would say, she's too nice a girl to know the number of ways to kill people. Easy on the eyes and as mercs go seems a bit nicer. Oh well though.

I always let the others kill her. I'll strip her shields () and then let the others finish it. Can't bring myself to do it for some reason :(

So she might not be dead.

Well I can only meet her dead body and I don't want a romance with that.

Being shot 3-4 times in the face with the Widow set on Cryo, then shattering wouldn't be good for survival rates either.....

Your all only going on about her because of her face....(female here)....if any of those Blue Suns on Garrus's RM showed any real sign of being cordial and helpful, sorry guys...:P...it wasn't Jentha, it was Selkie....

Umm no. Sorry. I kinda pulled her into the air and hit her with unstable warp... then shot her three times in the head as she was floating by... and I think her body fell out the window. People who get killed in combat like THAT should stay dead.

Scoped and dropped! I try for a headshot in every game, left eye mostly, out of respect. She had every opportunity to walk away before things went to hell. She didn't. I can respect that. Like Jack says: "You're in an enemy uniform and I'm going to kill you now."

Killing such a goddess of beauty gives me nightmares in my sleep every time I do Garrus' recruitment mission.

I might have to sue Bioware for damages over my PTSD.

Now THAT would make for an interesting and somewhat funny lawsuit. of course if you won you would ruin the gaming industry for everyone who likes realism, but still.
