Grabbed the collector's edition, $30+$10(shipping) = $40 is still not a bad price for a limited HC.

[From my experience] A signing plate is usually an insert adhered to the inside cover of the book where an author has his or her signature. Kind of in the area where someone might write "This book belongs to ____!" Usually it's on the 'inside' cover, or the title page depending on the weight of the signing 'plate'. I've seen plates made of cardstock, and occasionally a shiny metalic sticker.

Thanks for the link but unforunately I'm in Canada and that store doesn't ship outside of the USA.  I believe that GoHastings is the only store Ive found it on and yeah no international shipping.  I'll have to watch Ebay.

10 left now, so if you want one and still haven't picked one up, do it now. Too bad the litho releases can't go like this, put 500 out there, they last about a week, everyone get's a nice stress free period to pick one up, and the store still get's a sell out pretty quickly.

On the Redemption hardcover. They were also an exclusive item, but not for the Biowarestore. They were made only for the Science Fiction Book Club. The Bioware store somehow ended up with a few dozen copies a couple months later and I guess was allowed to sell them despite the exclusivity for the Sci Fi Book Club. They were only up on the Bioware store for maybe a day or two I think.
