I can only speak for my own server (www.seaofdragons.com), which to my knowledge has one Australian player, though he manages to find times when others are on to play with.   I believe that Australians have never been too common since the SoZ came out and it was, apparently, hard to get over there, but with the release of NWN2 and all the expansions on Steam you may have more luck finding people in your own time zone now.   You might just want to try a couple of servers and see what you can find.   Are you looking for something specific?

I would suggest like the poster above to simply try out a couple servers. As far as I'm aware, there isn't any specific australian/new zealand RP server. Although, I think Wulverheim might be based in Australia.

hey thanks for the replies i suspected as much, i was part of a solid aussie nwn community from nwn - nwn2 up till a year ago but all is gone as alot of the servers.. Im after a low magic server with heavy RP and DM involvement and based off the current server lists in a few threads above ill indeed check some of them out..

Cheers!

A bit late on noticing this post, sorry... Yes, Wulverheim is an Australian server and according to my players, probably the only one in existence at the moment. So you'll be lucky to get one at all, yet alone one with low magic. Wulverheim would have heavy DM involvement if it had the player base to necessitate them, but that's just the hard part in this part of the world, unfortunately.

It's been online for about 18 months and as a lot of my players have said, they cannot understand why its gone unnoticed and why there aren't more players around as it is a truly professional and enjoyable world to play on. From what I have observed, usually around school holiday time, new players turn up, play it for a few days, leave incredible comments and even say its the best PW out there. They play it for a few weeks and then most of them disappear and not many of them return. Presumably because they get bored of waiting for other players to turn up and experience it with them. It takes months before the next few players notice it and then it's just the same story over again.

I have done what I can to advertise Wulverheim and it used to be a 24/7 server. I guess the demand in Aus/NZ for Nwn2 servers just isn't that great. At the moment I only run it at weekends and school holidays.

As a result of this vicious circle, Wulverheim probably won't be around as an online PW much longer. I'm already preparing to convert it to a coop-compatible singleplayer campaign.

I think that server Baldurs Gate TSCC and Dalelands has got enough players whole day, from minimum 10. You can look on graph here.
