I'm going to be getting a new computer soon and I want to install ME2 and DA2 onto that machine. My question is: is moving save files as simple as copying the files from the Bioware folder in Documents? Also, I have ME2 installed on an external hard drive. Is it possible to move my Bioware folder from Documents to the external hard drive without problems? Thanks in advance for whatever advice you guys can spare.

Also make sure you copy across your player1.prf file in order to keep your achievements.
safest way to ensure you keep all of your saves and achievements, would be just to copy the entire My Documents/Bioware folder. This should also work with your DA2 saves and achievements.
Once you have set up your new PC and installed DA2 and ME2, just copy that folder back onto the new system and you should be good to go.

I usually copy my entire Mass Effect folders. I'm more specific when moving Dragon Age files because of their size.
