I imagine that they'll help neither the Mages nor the Templars. And possibly they'll sell more Lyrium to the weaker side to balance the situation so that the war can last longer.:happy:
Further speculation is that the protagonist in DA3 may get into a conflict with the Dwarves.
I think the Dwarves are going to make a lot of money in the Mage-Templar conflict.
