Now that you mention it, I wonder if it's a clone army? Tie in with the lazarus project like mac walters was talking about?

It's still a little stupid to leave the Atlas pilot exposed like that. One well-placed rocket and goodnight transparent shield.

That is why Cerberus are a fail!

It'd make sense. Okeer and Saren already proved that mass-cloning an army is at least a possibility.

I don't see any of these "new" updates on the Ops page...

Here I was expecting to be the first one suggesting clone army. Oh well.

They were pulled, probably posted too early and/or because they were missing pictures.

Why it's all still classified? I don't understand.

EDIT: Nevermind. It seems they took it down from what I've read on the previous page.

What would be real juicy is if they are clones of Shepard.

Eh, I don't see that working. Physically, Shepard isn't that special - its what he is mentally that makes him such a threat. And if all the clones are like Shepard mentally, there's no way TIM could control them.

Unless they're brainwashed/have control chips installed.

That would be the reason why they are just canon fodder: real Shepard will waste them in no time.

If that's the case, why bother cloning Shepard?

As an insult? Psychological warfare? Is there better candidate?

You play as femshep, enemies are female. You play as maleshep, enemies are male.

Obvious plot twist from the start. So they won't do it.

Aahh, some really pleasant curves to behold on Thessia. Hope we get to see some of the biotic wildlife. :)

Looks like the guess that the Cerberus centurions are all Jango-Miranda-Fetts just got a few fallen cookie-crumbs to nibble on.

He could pull a Miranda and take traits from different subjects to create a superior human.

I'm not saying you're wrong - though I doubt you're right - it just seems like a pointless thing to do. I can't even imagine it bothering Shepard too much.

They are not separate plot twists, just one hour coding more to display correct character models.

Well of course, we do not even know if they are clones at all. But it is an entertaining idea.

It would bother me. And Shepard = me.

I think they have the tools to change the gender to whatever they see fit.

Your point missed me. I tried to say that Shepard's clones would be a nice plot reveal later in-game, but impossible since it would be obvious from the very start.

EDIT: I repeat, I didn't say that it was technically impossible. I mentioned a plot twist, didn't I?

If they do the clone thing I'm going to be disappointed.

'Cause it will be Star Wars much. Not that I don't like Star Wars (it's the opposite) but the whole cloning thing would feel copy pasted in my opinion. I hope they don't do that.

But would it be really so obvious? I mean, these forums have several wild theories of dedicated fanbase and one of them might be true in the end, but if they present troops in helmets in male/female versions when you first play the game, how would average player guess it?

I don't know. I just think my argument erases the possibility, because well, few people lead isolated playthroughs; you're bound to find out that opposite-gendered Sheps fight opposite-gendered Cerberus at some point, most probably earlier than the game intends.
