Well, that explains why Asari are so adept at Biotics.

You never read the Codex, right?

Why go I keep getting the impression that enemies are going to be harder to kill in ME3?

When I see the grenade launcher, I think the opposite.

There's a new pistol or SMG in the background of the weapons page:

I wonder how if there are gonna be any more weapons with secondary firing modes. Looking forward to what the future will bring.

I love all the new updates, but what's with the minigame? O.o Do you get something special when you get a certain score or what?

Incidentally, dropping off the cubes to write Shepard's birthday (4/11/2154) does nothing.

I guess they are forcing us to be N7 now....first game it was a spectre, second game it was a terrorist, third game it is N7.

Shepard is a N7 from the start of ME. It's not a military grade, it indicated the marines who graduated from an elite training.
You could say that we're forced to play a Alliance marine, but we don't know about this yet. And if we're going to be appointed again of the Spectre status.

NICK - Shep was N7 before you ever got control of him in ME1. It's a top training program that he graduated from. Why do you read this as "forcing" you? >_<

Only been here a short time, but I've gathered that it wouldn't be the BSN if we didn't complain about every little detail. Even ones we make up.

I suppose but I try not to post or read things with that mindset Homeless haha :) If I did I think I'd have gotten warnings from mods for being a grumpy gus who gets into too many pointless spats. At the same time, it does seem like people don't really READ as much as they should before making posts or considering responses. Ahh well - no harm done. *gets self back on topic*

Also - that assault rifle is officially AWESOME. Holy crap mini-grenade rounds? Hahahaha :D PEW BOOM PEW BOOM \\o/

You'd think he'd have noticed it appearing on Shep's armor in ME1 and ME2. Or the fact that it appears constantly in ME marketing, on the ME2 CE cover, countless avatars (*points up at the two previous posters*) and banners (*points down at sig*) here on the forums...

If the Cerberus Armor in 2 had looked like that, I might've actually used it.

Interesting details all around.

Agreed. I do love how the Cerberus armor appears in this game, and I hope I can wear it. It's my kind of armor.

Thessia sounds neat. N7 isn't a "position/job/rank" like Spectre/Commander. It is a classification of Special Forces training, the highest mind you. Plus you have been N7 since the first game and you started out in N7 gear in both games. I don't see how they're forcing anything on you.

I do miss the armor types from ME1 in terms of light/med/heavy - especially given the upgrade system returning in ME3, it would be fun if wearing different types of armor gave specific bonuses. Light armor lets you be more agile, faster, etc while heavy armor might give better DR/ammo capacity, etc. Nevermind the beefy awesome look of heavy armor on. Ahh well, we'll see what they have in store for us in the armor department!

The pistol in the backroung shares some resemblances to the Mattock.

It could be a cameo of the Phalanx?. Probably not. Looks smaller.

Well, the minigame is pointless. It never stops, and you can effectively go infinite if you go for speed/distance throw bonuses. Stopped around 800. Apparently, someone is almost at 2k on the score board.

No hate at all intended from my post - this is mostly questioning why you would assume this is being forced on you when the game has made it very abundant via imagery/lore that Shepard is a graduate of the top training program in the Alliance, ergo all the N7 material he gets access to in the various games.

I didn't mean to make you feel marginalized, just seems like you didn't quite consider your response either is all :)

People are "hating" on you because your concern made no sense and was worded in an inflammatory manner.  Keep fishing for sympathy and it'll get worse

Then again, it's not that hard to just look up the definition of N7...
