I prepared myself by writing paragraphs of snarky responses putting down the main game, and its removal from my computer. Just so people would have no doubt about my innermost feelings.
...but then I lost my notes. But thats okay. Somewhat ironically, most of my jokes were recycled.

Thought I'd prepare by coming on the internet and putting down others who are actually looking forward to it, because apparently I have nothing better to do..
Alternatively, I'm just waiting. I also put my main Hawke in the estate right where the statue to start the mission appears, just to see what happens. I'm not expecting anything wondrous to come of it, just curious. Exciting, hm?

no black emporium was over priced, stone prisoner was over priced, the longest dlc(up to date)in the da series is a good price even if you think the game sucked to begin with.
how am i gonna prepare? finally adding my point card, buying a origins dlc, probably a item pack and then this dlc, so excited!

But Shale is free! (Well, if you buy a new copy of the game. And with the Ultimate Edition of DAO around now, getting the whole pile together seems pretty affordable.)
Anyway ... in order to prepare for the DLC, I've started my fourth run so I can play it in Act I with Bethany along. I'm kind of frustrated that I'm at work all week and meant to be doing something else next weekend so I won't be able to play it immediately.
