Why would any rational person care about DA2 DLC?

Why would any rational person act like a troll?

Obviously because they liked the game.

That is an irrational response to DA2. Image IPB

Change your name to "The Rational God" then. You cannot define this type of thing.

I got 3.5 Hawkes geared up, a handle of whiskey and enough microwave popcorn to slide down the side of. Can't wait!

DA2 DLC.... huh

Nah I'll just do my replay through TW1 to import to TW2 with the new free DLC

Now that's a rational plan. Image IPB

I went through and got all of my Hawke's up to speed. My mean Rogue, snarky Warrior, and kind Mage are all ready to roll now. Went ahead and bought the class Item Pack and started planning another character that I'll meta-game the crap out of. Going to try and get to the most XP possible this time around. Tempted to do a Nightmare run.

I was going to do another play through of Awakening in case any of the Darkspawn stuff therein was referenced, but I've never been a fan of Awakening's story. Instead I just read up on the Wiki.

These replies are hilarious, though, I had forgotten how upset the rpg hivemind was over DA2. I think attention seekers root out these threads just to build their "rpg cred" by ragging on DA2. LIke Hipsters, only a lot less cool. "I liked Bioware before they went mainstream, now they're dead to me". Or "My favorite companion was Morte, you've probably never heard of him" ;)

I prepared myself by writing paragraphs of snarky responses putting down the main game, and its removal from my computer. Just so people would have no doubt about my innermost feelings.

...but then I lost my notes. But thats okay. Somewhat ironically, most of my jokes were recycled.

Win.  This is just...So much win.  Image IPB

I've bought every piece of DLC BioWare has put out for Dragon Age up to this point. But if Legacy ends up being poor, I don't think I'll be buying anymore DLC for the game.

I'm looking forward to it. To bide my time, I did an Amell Warden run-through of DA:O and DA:A with some choices (exiling Alistair, etc.) my other saves lack. Then I read through A Dance With Dragons which I hoped would hold me over until Tuesday. Now I'm just waiting.

Since I have beaten the game already 5 times I doubt I will play it again, however already purchased my Microsoft points for the 360 version and then will constantly check the marketplace until it pops up lol and just play from the ending.

I'm hoping, not preparing. Hoping that this DLC does not mark Bioware's sales expectactions. With some luck, that would make them reconsider the new way for the franchise in DA3.

I'm not preparing, just waiting. Think I'm going to reload my mage Hawke in act 3 to play the dlc, or maybe just continue on with my rogue that isn't finished yet.

I'm waiting. I won't download or play. I never download DLC if it costs money but I'm interested to see if Bioware has indeed improved upon the things they said they would. Looking at Mass Effect 3, they have listened to community feedback and are making ME3 basically; ME1 and 2 combined with deeper RPG elements, better consequences with choices and even greater combat. There's still hope for Dragon Age 3, yeah, maybe it won't be Origins 2 but it might have the "traditional" RPG feel we're looking for if Bioware listen to the fans for this installment. That's why I'm interested in the feedback of the DLC.
