 I wasn't sure where to post this, so if this doesn't belong here I apologize. I just got back from San Diego Comic Con and found out about the new anime series. It's called  ]Dragon Age: Dawn of Seekers, coming out in 2012 . There's a teaser trailer and concept art. One of the guys at the funimation table said we might here more about it in October.  So what does everyone think?

There were mages there? I just thought it was Dumat's corpse.

Look in the "Extras" section. The concept pieces are titled.

These blood mages are apparently shackling up dragons and performing ceremonies with/on them.

Seeker meaning Cass aka Cassandra judging by one of the storyboards. Also looks like they didn't get the memo on DA2 elves needing to look like mutant donkeys.

Wondering if the "Dragons attacking people" bit is supposed to be in Orlais? That looks neat, but the architecture looks too damn much like Kirkwall if thats the case.


Not a fan of anime in general but interesting to see this is still around, considering it was announced over a year ago and nothing has been heard of it since its announcement. The poster itself is a bit cringe worthy in that it looks like its for a little kid's Disney movie or something, but some of the actual artwork and colors and lighting in them look nice- like the blood mage stuff or the seekers in the forest.

Interesting. Hopefully they'll take the opportunity to explore inner-chantry politics and dynamics this time around. And is Orsino the "First Enchanter"?

I am guessing from the architectural style that this is Cumberland.

The First Enchanter in this teaser is human, judging by the ears. But I agree that this is likely Cumberland style, or at least somewhere in Nevarra.

Also, I like the references to "Cass."

That page is not available in my country. About the DA franchise... I am not interested in anything other than its games. That includes moves, TV series, books, and other merchandise.

Cassandra seems to be getting around the dual blade weapon restriction for warriors...by carrying three swords! I'd be jealous if she didn't look so good doing it. Kind of looking forward to this.

Though I still hope she'll be an eventual companion, and her presence in DA2 wasn't purely for a link to the movie.

it looks they have the Seekers repurposed for this movie. That doesn't sound like "internal affairs" unit which i thought it's supposed to be.

As for the elves, those were elves from the past, before the wasting sickness hit them during the time of DA2. Yeah thats it.

I'm not really intrested, in all honesty. It wont make it to my country,for one. I don't particularly like the artstyle,either. It will most likely feature the same overused V.A from funimation,as well.
