So, in order to relate this to ME3, do you think this board will become more or less "Something Awful"?

There is some good stuff here, mostly Phaedon (Sp?) threads and the debates, but some stuff is pretty strange and out there.

No sweat, just remarking on a trend I've noticed on these forums. Certain topics seem to crop up to which much of the discussion seems to gravitate--Ashley's new attire, unmasking of Tali, paragon/renegade contention, the last day or two has been "James Vega of Jersey Shore" and today that SA thread has been posted numerous times in unrelated threads. I just think it's curious, is all. The overall behavior I mean, not you specifically.

Considering the Forums i've been on, this place isn't so bad.

Someone coming onto this site and copying/pasting a topic (perhaps reading it on the way through) is the weirdest thing i've ever seen. Or This:

Probably because this isn't people's first board to check, or main board to hang out on.  They see something related to the board elsewhere, and cross-post.

As for topics, there's always a flavor of the day, and with little new information out (pre ComicCon anyway) people either speculate or overanalyze everything that's dropped thus far.  And people post in threads about things they like or interest them - Ashley fans will post in an Ashley-related thread.    Since there are more Ashley fans than, say, Tupari vending machine fans, Ashley threads will get lots of posts, and the poor Tupari thread will be off the main page in a matter of hours.
