So....hardcore fans of anything look like a bunch of crazies to everyone else? Hasn't that been true since, well, forever? I recall walking through the center of my home city back in 1985 with some friends, all clad as fantasy characters, and people asking us from which cult we were. Times have moved on, these things stay the same. The  internet just makes it more visible.

Though that Tali's sweat thing was a bit much.... and of course the mere mention of it has resulted in a revival... Necro'd by proxy - where will that end

Seriously, I saw certain forums who would have worked out just fine had you put "Asylum" over it instead of "Forum"...

This place is a "Society for Concerned Gentlemen" in comparison...
Besides, as a general rule it's not that bad round here, if you don't like something then don't read it...

I know that these forums are online... but I feel like I'm being watched by big brother now. One slip up and my posts could be spread across the internet. Pretty creepy, actually.

I'm not up there at the moment though, which is probably a good sign. But with a few more months of these forums... who knows?

Yeah I posted this a few weeks ago in off-topic. I don't use the Mass effect forums often, actually any BioWare forum for that matter. Whenever I login, however, there's around a 50% chance I'll see a post or or thread that either concerns, disturbs or annoys me.
