Hi, I recently bought Neverwinter Nights Diamond off of Amazon (because I've recently been injoying the Forgotten Realms setting (and it sounded like a good deal)). Now, I have windows 7. And of corse had quite the time getting it to play on my computer. But with a little help from these forums, I got it to work just fine (with the exception of kingmaker). I did just as the guide told me. I went to my administrator profile, reinstalled Neverwinter Nights, didn't add a short cut, downloaded the 1.69 critical rebuild patch, changed my compatibility to Service Pack 3, and everything. everything installed well enough (except for Kingmaker of corse). So I just shrugged it off, and decided to enjoy my new game. Well I just beat the campaign, and moved onto Shadows of Undertide, and soon realised that I would eventually be moving onto kingmaker (After Hordes of Underdark, of corse). so I decided to go ahead and try to install Kingmaker once again. Only to fail... once again. Now all I can seem to do is get to the "Choose Start Menu Folder", Click install, then I goes to the "Installing" part, and allmost instantly the bar gets 1 of a 3rd full and tells me "Neverwinter Nights™ Kingmaker Installer has stopped working" So now I'm at a loss of what to do. And some help would be greatly appreciated.

I had problems installing my Kingmaker as well on Windows 7. What I did to make it work is when it asks where you want to install the game, by default it'll put it in Neverwinter Nights\\Bioware Premium Modules. I changed the location of it to Neverwinter Nights\\Premium Modules. It installed perfectly.

Hello i know this thread is old but I am also having this problem. I tried doing what Tormagar suggested and it still didn't work for me anyone have any ideas?
