So I have the toolset open, and I want to look at .DAS files of my characters. For example, maybe I gave them the wrong voice set during creation. Now, Character B that has just beaten Ishal Tower, I was having problems opening her DAS but I just opened it now. But Character A, who is in Orzammar on the last treaty, has a main save that I can't open the DAS on. Toolset says, "EditorGff40, Out of Memory."

This isn't necessarily a problem since I don't think I need to edit A's das file, I'm just curious.

As a side note, is it possible to change what you've named a character? I didn't see it in the .das file.

This is not a toolset forum. This is for the game, and there are entirely separate forums for toolset activity discussions.

Didn't see an appropriate Toolset forum for this though.

Apologies, mods can lock.

No sweat. Things are dead in here anyway, but that also means your odds of finding anyone here with an answer aren't good.

I happen to agree.  http://social.biowar...m/1/subindex/70 covers toolset usage of various sorts, and does not contain a subforum for tech support issues.  And since you detail an error message after a certain activity, maybe this here is the right forum.  Since it's not perfectly clear either way, I suggest keep looking here and also try the "General" sub- in the Toolset area.

The toolset requires at least 3G of RAM and is a huge memory hog on top of it. That is the error you get when it has eaten all of your RAM. It is possible to change your character's name, voice, appearance, etc in the toolset. There are extensive directions on the toolset wiki and in the toolset forum (plus the toolset forum has people who can answer more questions).
