I'm having a very annoying problem. Two achievements are not unlocking for me Blight-Queller and Perfectionist and I'm getting very mad! I know that blight-queller is sometimes bugged and I did that whole Alienage save and reload trick and nothing. I'm well over 1000 darkspawn kills with my character. I don't know why Perfectionist isn't unlocking. If anyone can help me that'd be great. Is it one of the updates for DAO or something that's screwing it up. I have all DLC except for Lelianas Song if that helps.

I realise this should be in the technical support section but no one checks that.

I got Perfectionist after starting a game in Awakenings. The funny thing is I had only done Morrigan's Ritual when it was unlocked.

I got the perfectionist achievement without ever doing the ultimate sacrifice ending. As I wasn't looking forward to killing off any of my wardens, I didn't mind.

Is your warden doing all of the killing during the alienage? Those darkspawn kills must all be done by them. Btw, it was a patch that messed up the BQ achievement, making it not counting darkspawn kills across playthroughs. I got the achievement with all dlc downloaded and not playing offline by repeating the alienage scenario.

I don't blame you for not posting in the tech support forums, as you can be waiting months for a reply.

Yeah my wardens doing all the killing, Repeating the Alienage doesn't work for me as none of the kills are counted when I reload to do it again. I cleared the 360s cache and deleted all my DAO saves so I'm just going to do complete Origins and Awakening playthrough and hope that I get BQ.

Don't know what to do with Perfectionist, might let Loghain and Alistair die again, see if that works

The game counts your darkspawn kills, even if they're not listed on the kills list in game. That's why you can keep reloading and killing the darkspawn over and over. As long as you save once everyone's dead in the alienage, then reload and kill everyone again. It will work eventually.

I've done solo playthroughs through Origins, and even with 1000+ darkspawn kills where my warden did all of the killing, the achievement still didn't pop. It wasn't until I used the alienage method that I finally got this elusive achievement.

If you upload to Awakening, your kills total will reset, as the game will count your Awakening warden as a whole new character. I've read about people fighting endless amounts of darkspawn when defending the keep near the end of Awakening, though I haven't tried it myself. Only once did I not defend Amaranthine.

Indeed its a pain.

Its does allow you to really work out your solo darkspawn fighting tactics though.
