Indeed. ED-E is usually my non-human companion of choice. Although Rex is actually really good at killing Cazadores. At least, after he gets his new brain (I always give him Rey's, for +25 Damage).Barbarossa2010 wrote...
What's worse is a Turbo Rex. He will chase retreating Legionnaires (literally) across the map. And out of nowhere you get a kill cam, sometimes minutes after an engagement...long after you've looted and moved on to the next thing.

There aren't any Black Widow options with Ulysses. They probably thought it didn't fit the srs bsns tone of the DLC.

Black Widow can't exactly be called romance. It would just be surreal to have Ulysses asking the Courier to shake her charlies.
"And then in the Divide the Courier and Ulysses rustled their jimmies and created a new breed of humans that would one day take over the world!"

Import the Experimental MIRV from 3! The only way to be sure!
Or handle it like I said yesterday: Like a gentleman.

I didn't. Was there something in the game that I missed that told me that room was fireproof whereas the others weren't?

Anyway, never felt the sting (pun intended) of enemy Damage Threshold like I did there. I had a Caravan shotgun and hardly did any damage until I slammed about 6-10 20 gauge shells into each, then I could slowly take them down while I was kiting back. Their shields just kept flashing and I could not break that armor for anything...and their DT is only supposed to be 5! You never know just how weak you are until you face them as a level 1 or 2. Both took me down to about 20-30 HPs and their venom was eating what little life I had left up quick. My plan was to heal with food until about level 20, but they put a serious dent in that idea, and forced me to stim.
I used the experience to study their DAM and DT since they were more than a match for me at this point. I'm so used to dispatching them in short order, or sniping them at a distance with sneak criticals, that I never really took a close look at how much of a hurt they can really put on you.

Boone is a big time kill stealer, but he's easily nerfed with his hunting rifle at higher levels. By that time, you're either in high end energy weapons or Anti-Materiel Rifles showing him what's what. For an anti-Legion Courier, I have a hard time leaving Boone behind.
Unless you're melee. Like me. Boone never has a place in my party. Cass is superior for my purposes because she works best at mid, not extreme range.
Ed-E is long range too, but since I usually go for the Brotherhood armor upgrade, he doesn't killsteal too much. Thats why I like that particular pair. They cover me at all ranges while still letting me take the lead.

Ah, makes sense. I hadn't considered melee artists or fist fighters who live for the up close and personal.

I'm thinking of making a low INT character and joining the Powder Gangers. Maybe I'll join the legion with him, too. Pretend someone told him he can get lots of chicks there. lol I'm sorry, the fact that it would be my only male Courier is kind of sexist, isn't it?

So...in one day I help murder an evil old lady, launch ghouls into rocket ships, and help the guy who got me shot in the head out of a hostage situation. Then got into a running gun battle against a Legion goon squad....
Yep I think I need about 4 liters of whiskey tonight.

I probably wouldn't get to end game with a character like that. Which is fine. Roleplay-wise, once the NCR learns that Caesar's new champion drools when he talks, it will provide a great boost in morale.

Courier's Mile is kind of small, eh? I kept running around in circles thinking there had to be more of it but eventually gave up because I was just burning Rad Away. It seems like a pretty backward cost-benefit ratio. Screw you and your "it's your duty to see it" crap, Ulysses.

Courier's Mile is just pain...little more. I think this is the one shot I ever took on Courier's Mile way back when:

Oh, and I could feel my good name being cursed!
And yes, a low INT character is perfect for the Legion.
