2. It has an estimated release date of March 2012.
3. As mentioned in the video, it has dragons.
4. It has Cassandra.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, head over to the Bioware Pulse website. Surprised there hasn't been some sort of announcement yet.

It's got a -lot- of dragons, in fact. Not too many, but enough.
But does it have gryphons?

Are you sure it's the same Cassandra?
It is, you hear about events from DA2 and stuff. Unless she's a really young ancestor who somehow birthed somebody her own age.

I'm not convinced, TBH. The last mention of a major dragon attack was 40 years before Varric's interrogation. So it's one of the following:
1) Cassandra has aged remarkably well, she's the best looking 50-something year old in the game
2) The dragon attacks were told to her in flashbacks & she's not involved in the story as much as it is assumed.
3) More dragons attacked or it has been ongoing, and no one thought to mention it. Ever.
4) She's really Flemeth.
5) Anime Cass is an ancestor that DA2 Cass is named after.

Edit: But it's beyond strange to me that it's an anime.

Well Here they mention the Anime movie being an origin story for Cassandra. I think around the 4:20 mark

Oh my, that's a lot of dragons
Orlais looks very good. A mix of medieval Paris and the Vatican (if it is Orlais, that is).

I really hope thats not Orlais as the architecture looks too damn much like Kirkwall's blockiness with everything a nice shade of tan/ off white.
It looks better than DA2, but Orlais needs to look significantly different than Kirkwall . Thats one of my biggest issues with DA2's new art style is how everything, even supposedly geographically or culturally disparate locales or groups of people share the same overall blocky/spike/ feather laden aesthetic.
I'd like to be able to look at some DA architecture and go "Oh, thats Orlesian/ Tevinter/ Antivan/ Fereldan/ Anderfels/ Dwarven/ Dalish/ Free Marches/ ..." Same with clothing- they should refelct the climate/geography the people come from, not just be lumped into one aesthetic for the game overall, like DA2.
Hopefully the anime can reflect that better than the game.

Perhaps if I think it's good, my interest could be restored.
