Things you like (and want to see) that everyone else seems to hate

Here's mine:
The Hammerhead - people just don't know how to drive it. It's an awesome vehicle; fast, maneauverable, and powerful. The drawback is the armor (it has to have some kind of drawback people)
The Mission Complete Screen - I loved reading the Illusive Man's personal report on the situation at the end of the mission. It gave insight into his psyche, and it flowed well with the story. It didn't "break immersion" or "intrude on the story" for me any more than the dialogue wheel.
Thermal Clips - I'll be flamed for this one I'm sure, but I just don't see anything wrong with thermal clips. Not with the lore (it has an explanation, though clunky), not with the gameplay, and not with the fun. The clip system makes you think tactically, and keeps you from spraying bullets all over the place with no consequence. It also encourages you to try out other weapons instead of using the same one all the time, because you will run out of ammo in one weapon easily if it is all you use.
I may think of more, but that's it for now. What's your list of likes among the things the forum blows out of proportion?

I'd say the armor is a little too weak. I mean you can die in a split second in that thing. I'd like a little bit of a grace period.
I agree with you about the rest.

I've seen very few people complaining about the handling. Most people don't like the durability and the arcade-y level design of the Hammerhead missions.

I like the Hammerhead and I don't mind thermal clips. I don't like the mission complete screen just because it breaks up the continuous flow that ME1 had. Same goes for the loading screen. *puts up flame shield* I actually kind of prefer elevator rides.
The elevator rides dont sound that bad. I got a ps3 so I wounld not know.

There are ways of driving it that get around the worst of that. The platforming, for instance, can be partially bypassed by using the boost function in midair to jump incredibly far and skip over some of the places you'd normally have to jump to.didymos1120 wrote...

Did anyone notice the Hammerhead at the start of the ME3 trailer suddenly sprouting tech armour? We are saved.
There's a ME3 video with the hammerhead?! Got a link?

Have you played on harder difficulties against a bunch of engineers? For
me ME1 is harder than ME2, at least with infiltrator. And actually ME1
system makes me change weapons in a lot of situations because some
weapons work better with a particular enemy, and mods and ammo equipped

I liked the Mako. Consider this: after going through the Conduit, it has more mileage than any other wheeled vehicle.
Haha nice! I prefer the Hammerhead over the Mako, but I would like to see vehicle exploration in general play a bigger part in ME3.

I used to hate the Hammerhead with a burning passion. Then one day I realized that I'm not supposed to use the peashooter on the thing, and simply needs to mow down every muthaf&ckur in my way by driving into them. The Hammerhead is perfect for that purpose, and a very suitable vehicle for an aggressive Infiltrator or a Vanguard (my two main classes).
Its only major flaw is the inability to save while in the vehicle. But that's not a flaw of the vehicle itself is it?
Agreed. It's at least as good as reading the codex. The Mission Complete Screen - I loved reading the Illusive Man's personal report on the situation at the end of the mission. It gave insight into his psyche, and it flowed well with the story. It didn't "break immersion" or "intrude on the story" for me any more than the dialogue wheel.
Gameplay-wise it's absolutely necessary. Lore-wise it's a stupid plot hole, but ME fans tend to tolerate that. See Suicide Mission Shuttle in ME2.Thermal Clips - I'll be flamed for this one I'm sure, but I just don't see anything wrong with thermal clips. In general I love seeing trolls. Their juvenile attempts at attention seeking amuse me to no end. :-)
