I found the elevators rather amusing. The loading screens in ME2? Just. Boring.

Harbinger, seriously, he was much better than Sovereign, get over it ME1 fanboys

I don't get all the Harbinger hate.
I like Sovereign,, but he's your generic and cliche bad guy all boasts. "Oh look at me, I am great and you are not. I am immortal. Oh snap, I just died."
I don't see why any serious bad guy will stop and have a little chat with the hero. Harbinger wanted you dead and he did a good job at it. He didn't even tell you his plans. Just taunts you and nothing more. That's the perfect bad guy in a story. he doesn't have to explain himself to anyone, you just have to die ignorant.

elevators and the mako (although i think some people want the mako as the lesser of two evils over the hammerhead)

It's Zaeed for me. I think his lack of a dialogue wheel fits his character. He doesnt want to have a deep talk about his past, he just wants to wax goddam nostalgic.

yeah everytime I heard Soveriegn talk throughout all my ME1 playthroughs I always thought of Richard Dean Anderson saying "What is this guy a walking cliche?"

Mako/Hammerhead variants. I don't know if 90% of ME fans are clumsy or just blind, but the Hammerhead is ****** easy to control and maneuver. All it needs is heavier ammo, and maybe another alternative fire method.

Good to see some people who appreciate how awesome Harbinger is and how overrated Sovereign is.

Hmm except of course Harbinger does spend all his attempts-to-kill-you time flaunting 'generic and cliche bad guy' taunts.. to an insane extreme. He spends more time trying (and failing) to intimidate Shepard than Sovereign ever did

And of course in Arrival he has his 'lets sit and have a chat about your future arrangements Shepard' moment

There was no one left around to kill Shepard so he might as well chat a little.

i like everything he descibed as for the armor of the hammerhead, try fighing from a hull down posission i, it means only expose the turret or nothing at all (it works best in the mako)

i dont know why they removed the thermal clip codex entry, it explanes it all

i liked both the mako and the hammerhead, as for use of on the battlefield i imagine the hammerhead as a recon/flanking purpose Personell carierr as the mako forfills the apc/ifv role for use in the army/marines mechinised infantry platoons

we yet to see a Main battle tank in the mass effect universe

and ME1 with ME3s story.
Seriously there are only two large issues I had with ME1: Absurd amounts of inventory (though I did like finding the best loot) and the odd process of driving steep terrain in the mako.

I'm not even going to begin to list what annoyed me about ME2, because for me ME1 was just about perfect.

-James Vega. I'm glad that he's not your standard Bioware male lead (thus far), he doesn't look like he came out of a Lifetime movie, he actually LOOKS like a soldier, and the last name 'Vega' sounds like he could be hispanic (FINALLY Bioware! Please don't make him suck!)

-Jacob Taylor playing a role in ME3. People hate him because he's "boring" (simply because he doesn't whine like Alistair or Anders, has masculinity to him and he's human). I think he's simply awesome and I hope for his return in ME3, even if its a cameo.

-The ME1 inventory and armor system. Added some roleplaying depth and I sorely want the return of the light, medium, and heavy armor classes

-XP as you go. Sucked that ME2 changed that :-/

-Elevators (why people complained about it is beyond me, I liked the convos. The loading screens suck).

-Ashley's new look

-Miranda's catsuit (want one for FemShep, don't care what the pc crowd thinks)

-Decryption/Electronics. I want a reason to take certain squadmates on certain missions, not have Shepard be the ultimate Mary Sue and do everything.

Mako!

Loved peeping in and out of cover with Mako while zooming with the cannon to see enemies incinerated from miles away or seeing ground forces mowed down with the machine gun. It's like a sniper using tank shells and major caliber ordinance!

Scared the bejeezus out of me to have a Thresher Maw come at me, but I was glad to be in my Mako!

Less dialogue. Mass Effect 1&2 had too much talking in them. Sometimes, you just wanna shoot things.

More badass music. Guitars, and maybe drums. Orchestral stuff is ok, but it just doesn't make me feel hardcore.

Gore. I want to be able to shoot of limbs.

Sexy/hot crew members. More Miranda, less Jack.

Even though it probably isn't a unpopular as some other common issues, Crouching for some reason is surprisingly polarizing in the BSN. To me Combat in ME2 took 3 steps forward and three steps back for many reasons. Having a combat mechanics that ME2 had such as: being too reliant on the cover system, enemy AI that are ridiculously accurate but stupid, AI that almost exclusively target you over your squad and overly obvious cover makes combat more tedious than ME1 ever was.
Especially if Bioware is going to add a stealth element to ME3 the best way to incorporate stealth would be to have a crouch toggle. (even though prone would be the best position) Rolling from cover to cover is welcome but using it for stealth maneuvering is silly. Honestly if Bioware copied GTA 4 and Red dead redemption as far as basic combat mechanics (and motion animations) goes then there would be little that they would need to change.

I honestly don't know of anybody complaining about the handling. Granted I hated just about everything about the Hammerhead from weapons to mobility, My mobility issues have more to do with the play style the HH forces on the player. I'm not a run and gunner or nor do I like to rush through playing a game but that is what you are forced to do. You can't accurately engage enemies from a distance because you have the crappy missile turret instead of the Mass accelerator artillery gun and no zoom toggle.

Thermal clips

I prefer them to having unlimited ammo but worrying about overheating/cooldowns.

I also liked Miranda's catsuit. (the black one)
It didn't make much sense in a vacuum enviroment but I didn't have any problems with Miranda wearing that on Omega or Illium.
