Has anyone noticed how tough this form is against normal enemies? Immunity to missile weapons, very tough against physical attacks, and I haven't seen Morrigan lose any health yet shapeshifted in this form. It is weak against fire, so I wouldn't use it against dragons. I think it also restores mana if you get master shapeshifter.

It restores HP if you have Master Shapeshifter. It's not that it's tough, the Swarm form simply has something like a built-in Evasion skill (like the rogue talent). Any damage the Swarm takes also goes to mana. It is immune to any form of grab, knockdown and knockback.
With items like Reaper's Vestments, First Enchanter's Cowl, Imperial Weavers and Spellward the Swarm suddenly becomes very, very difficult to hit with physical attacks, and with other accessories you can reach ~50% spell resistance while in Swarm form. The Swarm's damaging aura also ignores spell resistance (so it remains effective in nightmare).
